BFA AUTO REPAIR

Yikes! I was in an accident on 2/10 at 4am. I called AAA but the police officer told me since she called the tow, I couldn't use AAA. BFA came and retrieved me vehicle. I picked my car up on 2/12 at 1pm and my total was $913 cash only! $475 towing fee, $100 lot fee, $100 admin fee, and $65 storage daily, plus taxes. When I asked for a price list, I was told that every tow is different so they don't have a pricing list. I found that to be really strange. My car windows were left down and there was snow inside of my passenger and driver side seats and floor. When asked about retrieving anything , I was told I had to at least pay the tow fee of $475 cash only to get things out of my car. I get they have a business to run and try to remain profitable but this is ridiculous. $475 to tow my car less than 15 miles? My car wasn't totaled and it's not an SUV. It was towed by a pick up truck with a lift on the back. $100 admin fee is wild. I will most certainly be doing my due diligence and looking up the laws in PA and specific jurisdictions towing and fees associated.

My son wrecked his 2018 Honda Civic after hitting a pothole, which caused him to run into a curb and bust a tire. He was scared because of what happened and called the police since his car was in the road and couldn’t be moved. BFA towed his Civic on the 26th at 2 AM. I called on the 27th around noon and was informed they were closing at 12 PM and would remain closed until the 2nd for the holidays. This means his Civic would be stuck there for 5 days. Fast forward to Monday and Tuesday—I called multiple times but couldn't get an answer. Finally, I reached someone today, and they are trying to charge me $3,600 to retrieve my son's Civic. On top of that, they want send me a bill with a breakdown of the costs. The person I spoke with on the phone was incredibly rude. I will be having my attorney handle this from here on out and will contact the Attorney General of Philadelphia. After reading the reviews about this company, it seems this is a common occurrence, and they have definitely chosen the wrong person to mess with this time. Steven

I recently brought my car in for service to BFA Auto repair. My first interaction of service was met with a smile from the woman behind the counter. I was in for routine service and received information about my vehicle that saved my families life. The service techs also explained and showed me what was replaced and done to my car. I left with a smile. I am looking forward to working with the repair shop again for my car needs. Thank you all for making sure I am safe while driving :)

My friend had his vehicle towed here after it was hit. They are trying to charge him $4500 to release his car. They also told him not call his insurance company regarding the matter. He is getting scammed and he will be contacting The Attorney General of Philadelphia so they can settle the matter. He has the black Cadillac DTS.
