5 Star Auto Repair Center

This auto repair place came highly recommended by really good friends of mine. They were able to fix my car and then there were sadly six times I had to take the car back before it was finally fixed the way I had paid. However, they did do such good work I have returned my car to their facility to have another repair completed. I do have faith it will be fixed perfectly this time which is for a different reason than the first time.

We used this shop several times in the past few years, over time it's been fine, but today we went in and were informed that they had a data loss and lost a computer, and therefore lost customer information, not only that but if you don't have your receipt somewhere, they seemed like they were willing to refuse service if there was an issue with parts they worked on. I understand that unless there is record of these things being worked on, there's no paper trail, but the fact this business has lost customer data is an immediate nope from me. Very disappointed and I will not be returning. Upon returning to the vehicle to take it, the drivers window was rolled down and the door was left unlocked, and it appears someone was going thru the ash tray and glove box. They didn't even secure my vehicle I brought in. We let them know and one of the dudes working there (possibly the owner) was gloating in response that he has "guns and cameras", as well as insinuated we were "just complaining", unfortunately that doesn't stop someone from someone walking up from the street when nobody is looking, and just taking something from their busy parking lot. Do not ever take your vehicles here.

The owner was very rude and I was as polite as can be, he must of been having a very bad day. Or he must be like that on the daily. Very unprofessional service and they couldn't find nor fix the problem. Lost for words.

So appreciative of the five star auto staff & Rick for taking care of my 2013 dodge journey. They communicated so well, they fixed my vehicle for a good price. & as a single woman I don’t feel taken advantage of nor am I unsure of what’s going on with my car every thing was explained so well. Definitely referring them to anybody in the high desert ! Thank you five star auto !
