971 Car Repair & Restoration

1 star given only because I can’t give zero. I had an absolute terrible experience with this place… This guy is extremely unreliable and takes on too much work than he can handle quite obviously. I called to get my vehicle in to be looked at and they were “backed up a bit” but were able to get in me in in approximately 1.5 weeks. I dropped my vehicle of and waited 5 days before calling about an update as we understand mechanics can run behind and things happen… No call back (after leaving multiple messages) for another 2 days where we were told the owner was sick and that’s why there was a delay. I was told that my vehicle was looked at and the part needed was ordered and would be coming in the next day. We were given the estimated amount the parts and labor would cost and that the vehicle would be ready to come get the next day. Called the next evening as we hadn’t heard about the vehicle being ready, and left a voicemail which was never returned until the following day when I had finally received a phone call back from Henry, who was extremely rude. I was told by Henry “the keys are in your car I don’t have the time deal with it.” I was taken a back at this answer and in complete shock, my reply “what?!” Henry’s reply “ya, I don’t know what to tell you it SHOULD be safe to drive on the road.. keys are in the vehicle come get it.” I waited two weeks to get my vehicle into this place just to wait another two weeks for my vehicle to sit at Henry’s collecting dust. Not once did I receive an apology or any sort of empathy for that matter, for the time I wasted waiting on his “expertise” just to be completely fluffed off. I am a single mom of three young kids, this vehicle is my only means of transportation. Two weeks of having to rely on others to transport myself and my three children just to have to have to do it again is extremely frustrating. I wish he would have been up front and told me after the first week he couldn’t handle the extra work.

Henry and Lynn are awesome. The work is done right the first time. I won't take my cars anywhere else.
