I've always had good experiences with this place. The lady at the sales area (they have rental and sales) is very knowledgeable regarding chainsaws and stocks good equipment. We also did a Ryobi warrantee return and it was very easy and fast.

I do not trust A & K Power to rent serviceable Uhaul auto transport equipment. The manager lied about the serviceability of a tire on the auto transport I rented after I told him it appeared low. The side walls of the tire nearly touched the pavement. The manager claimed he was once a truck driver and skilled in assessing serviceability by sight and by squeezing the tire with his thumbs. When I requested he check the pressure with a tire gauge, the gauge did not register any pressure and the manager claimed the tire gauge was not working. The manager then used a club to hit the tire next to it, which gave a pronounced thud. He then hit the tire that appeared low and it gave a muted thump. In the end the manager said that if I needed service to fill the tire with air I could call Uhaul Road Service because I bought full insurance coverage. One hour into my drive with the transport loaded, the tire blew out and shredded off of the wheel. This scared me and my family, and then delayed my trip by 2 hours while I waited for Uhaul Road Service to swap out the blown tire/rim. The Uhaul Road Service also exchanged another tire and rim, which had low tread.

I would like to make a complaint. Rubbish service. They told me to leave the truck at 5. I arrived at the location and the gate was locked. Total lack of respect. No information and no instructions. After calling Uhual support they told me to leave it in the parking lot in front of a store. Rating 0 and zero respect for the consumer.

Did the pickup U-Haul via the app but had some trouble. Front desk was helpful in figuring out the situation and directing me to get the u-haul i rented and was assigned. The vehicle was clean and in working condition and whatnot. Return was pretty smooth and simple. Would come back here again if I needed to load stuff up using a uhaul.

My Ryobi 110v Reciprocating Power Tool stopped reciprocating, although the motor continued working. As per Ryobi customer service I sent it by Fedex to my nearest service center at a cost of $13+. A&K Power Tools received the tool the next day (Feb 1, 2023). I called A&K on 2-8-23 to obtain a claim #, and spoke to Anita. Anita said that A&K received my reciprocating saw, and in fact complimented me on the thoroughness of the letter that I included with my package, which included the Model #, Serial #, and even a copy of my Home Depot receipt. Anita said that she would text me later that day with a claim #, but she never did. I followed upon 2-10-23, spoke to Anita, and again she promised to text me with a claim # later that day. She never did. I called again on 2-12-23, and again Anita stated that she would text me my claim# later that day. I replied to her that she had promised me the same thing two times previously, but she never followed through on her promise. She got angry and belligerent, and told me that she would just send the Reciprocating Saw back to me. I told her that I spent $13 mailing the defective Ryobi tool to A&K, I've now wasted nearly 2 weeks with A&K holding on to my tool, and now she has the nerve to tell me the she'll just send it back. I asked her what kind of customer service that was? Furthermore, Anita told me that the claim # is irrelevant at this point because it takes 30 to 60 days to repair my tool anyways. She replied that I was getting verbally angry and she's ONLY A ONE PERSON SHOW. I told her that I wasn't getting angry, but I was upset that I had to call her multiple times over multiple days to get a claim #, which she kept promising to text to me but never did. I told her that I would complain to Ryobi, and so she finally relented and promised to text me the claim # later that day (2-13-23). Later that day I received a text from Anita: "Do you have your model and serial number for the unit shipped to us???" This despite the fact that when I spoke to Anita days earlier she complimented me for the thoroughness of my package, which included a very detailed letter with model#, serial #, and even a copy of the Home Depot receipt. I replied with a copy of the thorough letter that I included with my power tool shipped to A&K. Anita replied: "Ok. Your work order number is 6169. Wish I had that printout when it got to us. There was nothing in the box ..." I texted back to Anita "The printout was a letter that I wrote and included with the defective reciprocating saw. You must have lost it. In fact, thef irst time that I spoke to you, you said that you really appreciate that I had included all the information with my tool." Anita, representing A&K and Ryobi, provides the most horrible kind of customer service, representing a special blend of incompetence and nastiness. I have no idea how or why Ryobi continues to contract out to A&K Power Tools. And I don't understand Ryobi - how is it that it can take 30 to 60 to 90 days to repair a tool when its under warranty, and customers need their tools for work? It must be total desperation in finding anyone to service Ryobi's tools, especially since Home Depot no longer will take in Ryobi tools for servicing. Today, I went on Yelp to see if I'm the only person who has had a horrible customer service experience with Anita and A&K. It turns out there are 12/22ONE STAR REVIEWS of A&K PowerTools. Ryobi should take the time to read those reviews, including complaints about RUDE, DISHONEST, and INCOMPETENT employees, naming ANITA by name as RUDE in several separate reviews. How is that with 50%+One Star reviews in Yelp, Ryobi continues to make A&K an Authorized Service Center? What's worse, is how can I even trust A&K, based on what I have already experienced, to honestly and reliably diagnose and service my IN-WARRANTY defective Ryobi reciprocating saw?
