I wanted to share my experience, and hopefully help others when selecting a mechanic. I have a 21 year old car, which has had tons of work done from a lot of mechanics, but mostly a “family friend”. This friend charged us for work he never actually did, so I kept having problem after problem and spending so much money for my car not to work. My car sat for two years before I finally decided to go out and get a new mechanic, which is where I found Alfredo, with A&R Jr Auto Repair. He had the best reviews of all of the AV, so I decided to trust him. Alfredo has been the BEST mechanic I’ve ever my in my life. He’s honest, and takes care of your car as if it were his own. He could have taken so many short cuts, but he knew those would only be temporary fixes, and Alfredo was here to fix my car for GOOD. My car is running as if I just drove it off the lot for the first time. He put a lot of hours and labor into my car, and really did the most for me and my vehicle. Please let this be the review that brings you to Alfredo, the best mechanic! He gave me the best price, and the best work. I will only be going back here for my car!

I brought my car to these guys because it was blowing white smoke out of the exhaust. They supposedly fixed it and charged me $1400 and told me it was fine to drive it to Las Vegas. I got about 3/4 of the way to Las Vegas and the white smoke was blowing out of the exhaust again. I pulled over and I checked the oil which it did need again. I did get to Vegas finally but had to tow the car home. I brought it back to the Mechanic when I got home and showed him what was going on and he said to me what do you think I am God? No I absolutely do not think he’s God but I did expect him to guarantee his work which he did not so I had to eat the $1400. I don’t even think he knows what he’s doing other than he played me for a fool. Then he tells me I need a whole new engine. What kind of shister is this? Of course I didn’t have him do any more work to my car? I had somebody else fix it and the white smoke is gone. What kind of organization tells a woman she’s safe to drive to Las Vegas? Anything could’ve happened. By the grace of God I didn’t get into an accident. I don’t like the fact that I was taken for a ride a bad ride.

After my car failed a smog check because of a fuel leak from the gas tank, I took it to this business to fix this problem and I was very impressed. The owner is fast, efficient, reliable, and great with communicating with the customer. If I have any other problems with my car I would definitely take it to this place again

Alex is amazing! He communicated with me throughout the whole process and did great work. Very satisfied with the job they did on my car and it’s running better than ever. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an auto repair shop with good prices and great service!
