Please think twice before using this AAMCO location. We have had nothing but trouble since taking our car here for a rebuilt transmission. The transmission repair took about 3 weeks longer than expected. Upon return of the vehicle to us, we noticed a high pitched whirring/whistling/chirping sound. When I brought it back to aamco, the lead technician confirmed the sound in a test drive with me and said it was the planetary. The scheduler said “that’s too bad” and informed me they were going to have to take the transmission out. Since that moment it has been a complete disaster with the owner denying hearing the sound, the lead mechanic going back on his word saying he didn’t heard the sound after all. They pressured me to add an additive to the transmission (saying they missed that step in the technical bulletin) and test drove it again. 2 mechanics test drove the vehicle and I heard the sound the moment they got back, both mechanics confirmed to me they heard the sound and told me they told the owner Ben they heard it. BUT in front of me and their boss they denied it. I asked the owner and 2 mechanics to go on a test drive again - we replicated the exact same sound as before the additive - where the owner straight up denied the sound again and the mechanics not responding to me if they heard it or not. The exact noise is there and I have confirmation of it on video. Ben still denies it. And the 2 mechanics wouldn’t admit on video if they heard it or not. Bottom line, they are LYING here. I am leaving here with likely a worsening planetary issue where the owner straight up denies it. Please don’t give them a chance here - so unethical.

I brought my Honda Accord Car into AAMCO Transmissions Total Car Care Shop for my 10 a.m. appointment with Steve this General Manager for a Free Oil Leak Inspection. This inspection took one hour for Juan their mechanic to perform this Oil Leak Check. Juan this mechanic did a very good job. I set up another appointment to come back at a later date to get my Honda Accord Car repaired to fix this problem on my car.

While I didn’t end up doing a service due to time constraints/logistics, the owner was very knowledgeable and happy to work with me on pricing. He gave good advice for transmission care even after I declined the service. It’s rare to find people who genuinely want to do quality work on your car, and even rarer to find people who aren’t just out for a buck. I definitely will be servicing my car here next time!!
