AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

I would like to begin saying thank you to Rick and the awesome technicians at AAMCO in Chino,Ca. This is my second visit coming to AAMCO and first time I brought my wife's 2008 Honda Odyssey for a blinking D on the transmission. It has 185,000 miles and hadn't done transmission oil change in the last decade.When you first come in you are greeted by Rick and he asks you how can i help you. I explained the issues with my vehicle and he informed me that lets have a look at the vehicle check it out to see what's going on with it. Once they determined what the concern with the vehicle was he would have a better explanation for me with facts about costs of the repairs needed. The entire process of Repair Orders is done digitally very easy and convenient to approve or decline the job. We decided to approve and proceed with the repair. Rick explained it could be a simple small repair with transmission fluid change to a complete overhaul. I like his honesty explaining of all possible scenarios associated with the repairs. Our repair was a 4th gear pressure switch solenoid and transmission fluid change. The repair time was done in a timely manner and the repair came with a 90 day warranty. I've been here many times got a new/used vehicle and had to get the regular miles due to services done. Took my 1999 Cadillac Escalade in to service the transmission after sitting for a while. Not long after Mr. Rick informed me of electrical issues and more serious problems the truck was having. We weighed our options and decided it’s best to postpone the transmission service until the electrical issue was repaired. Mr Ricks honesty saved me money and him time. Honesty is the best policy and with Rick and his team it’s a guarantee!

Rick and his guys gave me an honest quote with the most relevant information on the issue I might have been having. Upon identifying the issue they were communicative and honest about what was going on. I was able to save a little bit of money from their honesty. I will definitely be returning for future work.
