I usually don’t do reviews but my frustration has boiled over. I brought my car in for a water pump repair and catalytic converter repair, which was a very involved job and he had to take most of the engine apart to repair it. During the water pump repair, he messed the timing up and although he eventually fixed it, the phasers suddenly went out. He denied the phasers were his fault and charged me about $2000 to fix, even though the phasers were fine before the vehicle went in. Including the phasers, I’m into the car about $8000. It’s been a little over a year since he did the work and the valve cover has a small leak and now our check engine light came on and computer shows it’s the catalytic converters. Tech net said cats have a 2 year warranty on parts and labor, so I brought it to him and he said he couldn’t find anything wrong, reset the engine light and charged me $75 to apparently fix the cat problem, even though it was supposed to be covered. He also said the leaking valve cover is out of warranty and gave me a quote to fix it, even though it was his fault. The next day, the check engine light came back on. I feel like every time he touches my car, it doesn’t get fixed or something else breaks and it just keeps costing me money. even though he’s a nice guy, I won’t be bringing my vehicle back to him.

Ken is very professional and knowledgeable. I appreciate how fast he fixed my GMC Terrain. He worked with my warranty and made the process so easy. I will always be a loyal customer. It is hard to find honest mechanics these days. Action Automotive rates a 10. Thank you for all you do. Natalie

Ken Clark has been servicing our vehicles for several years. He serviced my parents vehicles also. He’s very friendly, and professional. His prices are very reasonable. This week he fit my car in for service with a days notice. Ken and Terry are very good mechanics. I wouldn’t take my cars to anyone else.

Highly recommend Action Automotive! Amazing quality service!! Affordable, quick service, friendly, fair, and excellent in customer care and concern. I can’t begin to express how pleased I am with Ken and the kind work he performed, into the late evening even, to help get my van up and running and back on the road so I could be back with my family the same day. He was professional, kind, and a man who I could tell was in his zone! Thank you, Ken!!

Ken has worked on a few of my vehicles 99 Subaru and an 08 Subaru. Did a fantastic job with both. Yes it might take a few days to get in but we’ll worth it. I personally wouldn’t go anywhere else after dealing with Ken and his staff.
