Went for smog test. He tells me it failed one portion. I told him I would have it serviced by my son who is a master tech with Toyota. But would bring it back to retest. He told me if he didn't due repairs it would be another $108 to retest vs. $35 it "he repaired" Sounds suspicious to me. He fails it, then has to "fix it" in order to not charge a stupid amount to retest. Scam alert. I thought test stations were not able to repair for this very reason.

Took my vehicle in for a smog . My sister recommended me this shop. I was very pleased with their service . No appointment needed . Adrian was very helpful to point out some things my car needed attention on and fixed them that same day. Definitely recommend this family owned shop!

Smogged my '93, failed it cause my purge valve wasn't connected, said it needed to be replaced (I just plugged it back in myself, it was just loose) and claimed the gas cap wasn't sealing, which we tested when I got home and there didn't seem to be any leaks. I'll buy a new cap regardless but the whole experience was meh.
