Advance Transmissions Services Inc

In September 2022, I had my car's (Ford Explorer 2010) transmission rebuilt by Advance Transmission Services and it originally cost me $2100.00 to do so. Last month I had to bring the car back because the transmission was not performing properly...cost me another $800.00 Today I was told the transmission was failing again. All told the "rebuilt" transmission was 2 years old, had approximately 30K miles on it, and cost me almost $3K...I WOULD NOT not recommend this shop at all!

I couldn’t find out what exactly was wrong with my car as it wouldn’t go past 1st gear. I tried so many different options and was praying I wasn’t going to have to get a whole new transmission. I called 3 different shops and they told me I would most likely have to get a new one. I finally called Advanced Transmission and spoke to Tim. I described to him what my issue was and he automatically told me the code and what exactly was wrong. Turns out I needed a new conductor plate. Once I got there they ordered the part and received it within 1.5 hours and got the job done within 4 hours. As I waited I spoke with Artie and he was very informative on transmissions. Felt like my car again once I left with it the same day. They really saved me from a ton of money. If you ever need transmission work, this is the place to go to!

I never had these guys do transmission work for me because my car wasn't worth fixing but these people were fantastic. Great staff knowledgeable mechanics! They put my car on the lift and gave an estimate for me, free. They even turned down a tip. Classy guys, hope I dont have to visit again soon but if I ever have trouble, these are the people Ill call. UPDATE: unfortunately I had another transmission shot the bed and I used these guys. They installed a clutch flywheel package on my 2020 Jeep. Everything went great. Honest guys fast service. Thank you so much Tim for the quality work you put in!

I want to thank Tim, Artie and Willie for taking care of my car. I was referred here by someone for transmission work. And I'm glad I was. They have excellent customer service, with decent prices. I am glad that they are local. Wish all organizations operated this way.

Talk about honesty and integrity in a business where it's very rare. I was recently referred to this shop by a friend due to an issue I was experiencing with my engine. My vehicle would consistently hesitate during acceleration. I went to the Honda dealership and was told that I needed a new transmission (They even offered me a deal to get a new car). On my way back from the dealer, As my friend suggested, I stop by Advance Transmissions Services Inc and was given an appointment the next day. less than 3 hours after I dropped the car off, I received a call from MR. Parker and was told that my car was jerking due to an engine misfire. Which was much less of a problem than reported by the dealer. I am so grateful to have met these guys, they are some the best in the business. I would recommend them to anyone.
