Had a tire blowout 2 hours between Palm Springs and Las Vegas with no spare. Tim rescued our car and gave us a ride to PS, as well as recommending great places to eat! Fantastic service, very courteous. HIGHLY recommend.

We were stuck 120 miles outside of Palm Springs, in the middle of nowhere. Fortunately, we got connected with Tim from Affordable Desert Towing. Not only did he travel a long distance to come get us, his service was impeccable. He gave frequent updates on his ETA, as well as brought snacks and water since we had to wait for him to make such a long drive. That alone would have merited our five star rating, but he went above and beyond. After dropping our car at the dealer, he then gave us a ride to the rental car agency so we wouldn’t have to call an Uber. This team is awesome!

I was miles from home with no cash on hand, my cell phone was down to 2% power, as it was nearing 10pm, my partner — confined to bed — needed his medications, and our dog needed her dinner when a slow leak in the tire of the Tesla I was renting escalated into a major problem as air began to diminish rapidly from the tire. Teslas don’t have spare tires onboard. When Tesla roadside assistance had no solution to resolve my problem, I turned to Avis. They connected me with Affordable Towing (AT). I thought I would have to wait, but Tim (AT) called me within minutes, told me he was 20 minutes away and after I explained I was in a Tesla with a flat tire Tim told what he was planning to do. I appreciated that he kept talking to me on the phone as he was driving because not only was he able to prepare me with details but it made me feel connected. When I told Tim I was about to return the Tesla in the morning he said he would take care of it. That left me wondering how I was going to get back home but before I even mentioned my concern to Tim, he had that covered and told me he would arrange for an Uber to pick me up. He told me that it would cost $35 that was refundable from Avis. Then he told me he would pay for the Uber himself and collect the reimbursement from Avis. What possibly could be better than that? Tim arrived in a flatbed a few minutes after ending the call and the Uber was right behind. As Tim had instructed, I drove the Tesla a few feet to the space between the flatbed and the Uber and took my belongings from the Tesla. I thanked Tim with my hands full and went into the Uber. About one minute after leaving the driver’s seat of the Tesla, it was out of my hands and I was peering out the window of the Uber watching Tim drive the Tesla onto the flatbed. What an uplifting feeling ! There could not have been a safer and smoother transition, it was so well-planned. As a result, I was able to tend to my partner’s healthcare needs with no worries or additional delay time. My experience with the Tesla was very positive, but thanks to Tim, my experience with Affordable Towing was outstanding and I am grateful to Avis and Tim

Water pump went out in my van. Called Affordable. Tim reached out and we worked out a good time for him to pick up the van. It was not urgent as it was in my driveway. He was on time, polite and easy to work with. I will definitely use them again.

Tim was our tow truck driver, very professional and patient with us and a genuinely knowledgeable and kind person. Couldn’t ask for a better experience considering the situation with our vehicle. Thank you Tim!
