BEWARE!!! Don’t come to this place!!!! I came here after my oil change bc of engine problem. The owner wasn’t present so I left my car Thursday. The guys spoke to said he is going to call me. Friday and no call. They were closed weekends. So I decided to call them Monday at 8 am. I finally talked to this guy name Mike. He told me I needed a new engine. I pick up my car Monday. It was a mess inside, they didn’t put back my fuse box cover, they use my charger and there’s a soda can inside my car! When I got home I notice that they put 152 miles in my car! They drove my car. I’m warning you guys don’t leave your car here! My car is in good condition now.. the mechanic I found said that the VVT solenoid is bad due to over flow of engine oil, spark plugs are old and gaped out, plus darin oil to a recommended level. Karma is going to get you Mike! Liar! 🤥

The mechanic at this location is not honest. It took over a month to find and install a part. He charged me an exorbitant fee for the labor ($2700), while the current value of my vehicle is only $5000. Moreover, when the repair was completed, and he called me to pick up my vehicle, another issue emerged that was not present when I left my car there. He demanded additional payment to fix this new problem. As someone who has worked as a mechanic in my home country and has extensive experience diagnosing vehicle issues—including repairing the engines and hydraulic systems of massive rock trucks used in dam operations—I am well aware of vehicle malfunctions. The conduct of this mechanic is fraudulent. It is shameful to engage with someone who lacks professional ethics. I do not recommend this mechanic to anyone and am sharing this experience with everyone around me. Additionally, some of the positive reviews above are undoubtedly fake, and I want this to be known. *

I found this shop on Google Maps and was impressed by the reviews, so I decided to give it a shot today. Just brought my car home, and I'm so impressed that I couldn't wait to write this review standing up! I reached out yesterday for a quote on replacing the front axles (both) of my trusty 2007 Toyota Camry, and Mike presented an offer I couldn't refuse. I call them this morning, dropped off my car around noon today, and within a few short hours, I got the call to pick it up! The service comes with a one-year warranty, and by the way, Mike inspected the entire car for free. From my experience, it's nearly impossible to find a reasonably priced yet top-notch auto shop in the outrageously expensive Irvine, but this place is the exception! From now on, it's my go-to auto shop, and I'll be recommending it to all my friends. Hey Mike, if you keep this up, I won't be surprised to see 10 branches of your shop flourishing across Orange County in a few years! PS, I'll be back to share my thoughts if my car needs a second look!

Purchased a car recently and needed to take it in. Mike explained and showed me the issues he found, and answered all of my questions. Fixed my car for a better price than I found anywhere else! He repaired my car ahead of schedule and was great to work with!

Took my Acura RDX in today for the A1 service which is oil, filters, etc. The service was very reasonable and less than the dealership and took only two hours, compared with the dealership which takes all day. Because Airport Auto is close to Newport, it takes only minutes to drive there. They also provided transportation to home which is great. Mike was very upfront about pricing, etc. I have already referred a couple of friends to Airport.
