Steve was an absolute boss. 3 other tow operators couldn't figure out how to tow our low car. Steve could. He used a combo of physics and ingenuity to get the car up onto the flat bed of the truck, which came with a wheel lift. But the car was so low to the ground, that the wheel lift wouldn't work. So Steve got to thinking and figured out a way to lift the car and get that clearance to make the job possible. Very impressed, and relieved that someone had the expertise to deal with low ground clearance. The company also sent someone before him but that guy didn't have the expertise. So this review is for Steve, not for the other guy or the company who we told to get a lift for a low clearance car, and didn't even initially deliver the wheel lift.

Had a break down on a major road today and Jake from Alongi came by. He was superb! He was a really nice guy and I had some unusual circumstances (a cat with me). Jake could not have been more thoughtful about ensuring the cat was safe and comfortable too. We had a nice conversation during the drive, and he was very professional and friendly. All around great experience during a not-so-fun situation. Highly recommend the tow service. Thanks Jake! You made an unpleasant situation more enjoyable.

Car was stolen. The cops found it, wasn't even there an hour and they charge $450 because it was picked up an hour after it was brought in. Then to get my car out of the yard (since the reply said they didn't understand the comment regarding having to find someone who drives manual) the guy George or whoever towed my car tried to say he was going to forklift my car to bring it to the front and didn't let me drive it myself out because he couldn't drive manual and had to find someone who knew how to drive manual just to drive the truck out instead of fork lifting it. I didn't get charged what the municipality sets prices at - I got charged a whole day for it being there an hour and an after hours fee on top of that. It wasn't even there for an hour. The staff was unprofessional, didn't know what to charge me, and made it up on the spot. The guy who towed my car also tried to call me crazy for telling him to not forklift my truck. Nicholas Alongi doesn't help the community- him and his business profit and take advantage of the misfortune and theft in our community. Hands down the biggest thieves in the situation was the tow yard.

My family and I were traveling home from Santa Cruz and got a flat tire earlier this week on the 680 and pulled off the freeway on a side road. We contacted AAA. Alongi Bros were on it within less than 15 minutes. Great comfortable experience, very informative and made an uncomfortable uneasy situation into a more comforting one. Very fast reliable service. They got us over to Caulderon's Tires very quickly. Superb service from start to finish which is hard to find these days.

12/11/24: 1 star review because they towed my car and damaged my new vehicle while under their possession. I needed to file a police report online and had to work with my insurance company after coming here. A quick 30min visit turned into a horrible 3hours. 1/4/2025: The supervisor told me that an employee scraped the hood of my parked car with their truck when backing up. They admitted fault - I owned a new 2023 car (no previous history of damage as its purchased new) and this company damaged it while PARKED in THEIR parking lot. It says a lot about the quality of service. They admitted fault and offered transportation reimbursement and car repair. It took 7 days to get my vehicle back to me and an additional 7days for the repair company (AutoShield Collision Center in Santa Clara) to get the last pieces to me. Alongi Bros prefer to "pay-out-of-pocket" and will not file an insurance claim. They will work with a local body shop (Collision Center/AutoShield in Santa Clara) to fix the damages caused. Luckily, they repaired my hood and the paint looks similar to my original hood and the rest of my vehicle. This is my experience with this company and my experience is that they did cause damages to my vehicle. Make sure to take pictures, document everything, and file the proper police reports for your insurance. This post is to educate you of the process and my experience with Alongi Bros.
