Let me just start by saying that we will never go anyplace again to have work done on our vehicles! Hector and American Autoworks are extremely knowledgeable, honest, thorough, and fair. Following the ‘check engine’ light coming on in our Chevy Silverado, my husband took the truck with less than 45,000 miles to Al Serra where we had purchased it. They told us that the Electronic Brake Control Module was bad and the repair was not covered by any warranty and would cost us just over $2,800. Well, we decided to pick it up and take it to American Autoworks where Hector and his team took the time to actually figure out what was wrong when the computer diagnosis didn’t make sense. Needless to say, the problem was that it needed a new battery. With the cold temperatures we are currently having and a weak battery, it was not getting enough voltage therefore sending false codes. So, they changed the battery, double checked everything, and saved us thousands of dollars. Had we went with Al Serra, it would have cost us to fix something that wasn’t wrong and then even more to actually get it fixed. Thank you again to the American Autoworks team! We are grateful and will be sure to recommend you to everyone we know!

Yesterday I called American Autoworks about an issue with my car. I was able to get in this morning at 8am. I met Hector and immediately I could feel his love for people. He took care of my issue immediately. He went above and beyond to explain to me the codes that he saw on the report. I am a customer for life. This first time experience was unlike any I had ever had. As a woman walking into an automotive shop alone, I am always skeptical, but Hector made me feel comfortable immediately. Thank you Hector, you were a blessing today!

I had called earlier this morning and scheduled an appointment for 2pm to get my windows tinted. 1: Monica, was super polite told me pricing for the work and let me know the work will take about 2 hours. 1.75 hrs later my car was pulled out and delivered near the office. “ Do not use “ Tape was placed over my window buttons a instruction on the general care was left on my Info Center. The work performed was A+++. I know who I’ll be calling for any of my after warranty care. Nice to see professionalism and pride in work and happy faces. Thanks and God Bless

I just picked up my extremely nice 1994 Corvette this morning from American Autoworks and am very happy with the quality work they did. My air conditioner was blowing out warm air and my car was diagnosed as needing an A/C sensor and replacement of O rings on the condenser. The issue was addressed and the system was recharged with new refridgerant in a timely manner at a fair price. In addition, I had window tinting professionally done by a very experienced tech on the front door windows and rear hatch. The smoked tinting looks super sharp on my black on black "baby". If you want any type of work on your vehicle please speak with the owner, Hector. He is very friendly and will assure you that your vehicle's issues will be properly addressed by himself and all of his staff.

The excuses after all most "2" months in their shop ,became "inexcusable". Took our truck into their shop after placing a call to if they did "electrical" work. January 19th, with a freeze of -20, numerous issues occurred with the electrical of the truck. Numerous issues seem to occur due to the cold. The office clerk even noted that a BMW had arrived with the same conditions. Took the truck in on a Monday, and after 2 days of zero contact placed a call wanting to know of any updates. They had done a "diagnostic" and stated the truck should be completed by THAT Friday....4 days in their shop. Services and bill provided by their online app. Bill total just under 1k. Okay, great! SOOOOO...after hearing excuse, after excuse...worst being that the radio was faulty (claimed there was a module "in the dash" that contained water..hilarious)..the radio was working from DAY 1 and seemed to come into question "2" WEEKS LATER (Com lines not correct..etc.). The owner (Hector the great as he referred to himself) continued to to blame every issue on everyone else, even a seller from ebay. That While he was apparently waiting on a part from the ebay seller, he didn't even pursue "any" other repairs on the truck (note the part needed for the 4wd issues was never fixed, told Hector to never mind ,truck would have been there no telling how long). Finally after "7" weeks, yes .."7" weeks, they informed the truck was completed. So, went to their shop this past Wednesday, only to go to the truck with the HEADLIGHTS not functioning properly. They intern decide to send me a text stating that "I" was not aware of how the lights operate and that they were perfectly fine. So, I informed them that the issues were to resolved as of todays date or I would pursue legal action against them. Went to get my truck today and the owner "Hector" informed me that they had found a fault in the lights. I then proceeded to inform him that someone of his staff was kind enough to accuse me via text of at the age of 63 was an idiot in operating my own vehicles headlights. Now as noted at start the initial bill was estimated at 1K. NOW at over $2300!!!, they had the gall to ask me to cover more or their errors of over $300. I only pursued them for work do to my usual mechanic does not do electrical ,and their location. I believe they were originally a "detail" clean up shop, And too note, they also damaged the drivers door, and had to do a repaint. They claim to have numerous cameras and never acknowledged the truck being damaged on their lot. Only wanting us to not notice. Would never recommend in "ANY" regards. They want to comment on the post, will be more than happy to provide further update/details.

They will treat you like family. I called needing my brakes replaced, and they adjusted their hours to accommodate me and ensure I’d be able to drive home safely the same day. I’ll be coming here for any future mechanic work, and recommending my friends. You can tell they are not just in it to make a buck, they truly care and will go the extra mile when you need it. Cannot thank them enough.

Hector and his team are amazing. When another repair shop made an error in a repair and I broke down. Hector did not hesitate to help me. He had my car towed to his shop and fixed the problem. American Autoworks was knowledgeable, professional and caring. I would not hesitate to have them work on any of my vehicles. They are A+++

Researched a number of places to go and found American Auto Works via Google. It was my first experience and Hector developed rapport by stating that he likes to save his customers money and that the dealerships can’t be trusted. The Audi dealership diagnosed that my coolant reservoir needed replacing for $1,500. Hector quoted it for $230, but recommended doing a leak test to find the real source. Turns out it was leaking from a different part of the radiator system. He developed trust right away and I’m very glad to have found a local go-to auto mechanic for my import!
