Angelo's Foreign Car Services

Normally I don’t post a bad review but the circumstances warranted one. I called earlier in the week regarding my 2014 bmw 335 with the n55 engine reading a low coolant level warning (coolant reservoir level looked fine but was looking into replacing hose and swapping the plastic coolant hose flange with an aluminum one; I had purchased both parts in preparation for this service) and that I needed to flush my brake lines (something I put off doing myself bc I don’t have the equipment). Angelo at first seemed ok with checking these problems on the phone and put me on the schedule for Friday morning;; nothing was mentioned that he couldn’t do anything more than just a coolant flush (replace parts that are likely the cause of any leaking issue). Changing out the coolant hose and swapping the flange isn’t rocket science nor does it take more than 90 minutes to do but I didn’t have a lift to make it much easier nor wanted to deal with the coolant flush mess. When I arrived on Friday morning and started to explain what I wanted to do, I realized that Angelo was not qualified to do any engine coolant services. A simple question on what kind of water they use to create the coolant mixture required shined light on this. Angelo said he uses tap water ( which is awful for your car due to the mineral buildup it promotes) Engine coolant should always be mixed with distilled water to prevent damage to your car. Also, after showing Angelo what I wanted to do (brake fluid flush and engine coolant flush with replacing the parts I brought in) he said he didn’t have time nor could he do the service. I ended up leaving. Angelo should have been clear on the services he can and cannot do during scheduling and learn about how to properly do a coolant flush. The visit to find this out wasted my time and effort to get my car there on Friday morning and coordinate a ride back. Will not return to this establishment

Angelo wasn't able to fix my problem, and that is OK. He is one of the most honest people I have ever met in my life. He did troubleshoot my car, tried sensors, drove it, and did many more things... afterward, he refunded 100% of my money with a simple smile and recommended someone else. Amazing and Impressive. Congratulations, Angelo. Ps: His Dog, LEO is the cutest thing alive.

I took my car (fiat 500)to Angelo after at first I went to another mechanic, after three times they couldn't fix the problem so I went to Angelo, right away he knew what was wrong. It's been a few weeks and the car is running great.he also took care of another issue I had. I'm very happy, he's honest professional and honest. He was very good at explaining what was going on.thank you Angelo!

Angelo is a great mechanic, he hires good people, and he's an absolute Subaru expert! When we got a '95 Legacy wagon from Stamford Subaru, he was the Service Manager. He never tried to up-sell us. He was always thorough and fair. When he went out on his own, we followed him and use him for all maintenance and repairs big or small. He is honest, friendly and gives more than fair prices for high quality work.

Angelo is the best. I have been coming to him for car services for a year now. He tells me exactly what’s going on & gives the best prices with great quality. He wasn’t able to help me with my tires today but he called a colleague in front of me & once I got here the guys were able to fix it right away with Angelos discounted price. He really cares & is so nice & knowledgeable.
