Go somewhere else where the staff is honest!! This would be the place to charge you for something you don't need at the least. Took my diesel truck for a smog, it has an Edge programmer sitting right on top of the dash. It is the first thing you see when you open the door, when you start the truck it lights up and makes a sound.... stay with me. My year truck has no smog components from the dealer/factory, I didn't think it was an issue it has always passed smog. I am not upset that they did not pass it, they are doing their job if that makes it illegal. The tech asked for my keys, opened the door, looked at the screen, got in it, started it, moved my truck and put it in the shop just to tag it with the state and charged me. Not until then did he tell me he couldn't pass it with the device there hooked up. The reason I am upset is any decent human being would have just said from the get go "hey it wont pass with this on here", it was the first thing he looked at before even getting in the truck!!! I watched him check it out then get in and input the truck just to fail it and tag it. I will say it again, I am not mad at him not passing the truck, I am mad because thats not taking care of your customer it is ripping people off. I hope those $51.95 he made are worth being exposed. I also will upload a picture in case they try to deny how obvious it is for someone in this line of work. Again I watched him look at it and touch it before he even got in my truck. RESPONSE TO REPLY: You are just mad that people can expose you and share what happened at your dishonest shop. You care about the money and not the customer, it was obvious, you cant miss the display. I would have more respect for you if you just trained your staff instead of making stuff up. It already passed at the states facility, they took the time to look up the order so do your best to get even! I will repeat again, I AM NOT MAD IT DID NOT PASS I AM UPSET YOU ARE A CROOK!!!!

Top of the line service, even on a busy day they work quick to fit you into there process. If you want fast service at a fair price you have come to the right place. Also they offer other services beyond smog, I got an oil change there as well and was super convenient. Thanks again Apple Valley Smog Check.

I have a 2001 F250 I bought out of state. It is not OBD2 compliant. It can be smogged in California but it takes a special test or something. Junior here got me taken care of no problem. If you need anything smogged, this is your spot. 10/10

Price was fair. Waiting time wasn’t bad. 2 cars in front of me and I was still only there 30 minutes. The guys there were polite and straight to the point. Will go again thank you
