Arlington Car Care

Car wouldn’t start so I had it towed to the closest place with good reviews which was here. They were very friendly and got to my car quickly and resolved the issue for a reasonable price (battery replacement and battery terminal replacement). I asked them to take a look at my trucks engine misfiring issues I’ve been having while they were at it. They ran some diagnostics but I decided to not get anything fixed because they quoted me almost double the price that my other trusted shop did for the same repair, and they still weren’t 100% sure that was even the issue. I got my truck back and since the second I drove it off of the lot, it drives like a I’m riding a jackhammer and my gas mileage was cut in half. I have no idea what they did or didn’t do, but I certainly won’t take it back there for them to fix what they screwed up because I’m not paying a ridiculous amount of money for it, and based on my current situation, I don’t trust their guys there to do any significant repairs. Solid shop with good folks if you’re looking for simple repairs that most people could do at home. Anything more significant, you’re safer taking your car somewhere else where they will do the work right the first time, and for much less.

I cannot say enough good things about the honest and straightforward services at Arlington. Despite having moved to the Northwest corner, I always go to Miller Arlington for my mechanic needs. They have saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars over the years with their advice. One time my steering wheel was shuddering after a heavy snow. I wanted to bring the car in and they advised me to check inside the tires instead and dislodge any ice chunks. Lo and behold, I did so and the car worked fine again. Another time I had gone to my local dealership because it was closer, but $800 they were not able to fix the problem. I took it to Arlington car care and they were not only able to fix the problem, but advised me on a better mechanic in the area if I was not able to bring my car to them! I literally just call them for their honest advice or recommendations at times. I will never go anywhere else for mechanic services.

My daughter was in town for an appointment when she had trouble with our older vehicle. Given that it was after 3pm on a Friday, and she had a 2 hour drive home, I was hesitant to have her drive without a mechanic checking the car. I received a recommendation from another auto center to call Michael at Arlington Car Care. He gladly agreed to squeeze her in. He charged her $6 to inspect the car and add a quart of oil. When i called back to offer more payment for his services, he refused. He literally saved the day for me and my daughter! Thank you so much! Good to know there are still great people out there!
