I took my 2016 Chevy Impala into the dealership as my headlight had burnt out. I was told it would be $40-$50 and take 20-30 minutes. They came out in 10 minutes to say they had bad news and the bulb would be $414 including $25 labor. Lucky for me they didn't have it in stock but would order it. That afternoon my 19 year old grandson stopped over. He watched a 5 minute youtube on how to replace the bulb. He ordered a set of 2 for $36. 24 from Amazon. They were delivered 20 hours later. It took him less than 15 minutes to replace both bulbs. I spoke with manager at the dealership this morning and after listening to my story he said “ we don’t buy bulbs from Amazon.” He went on to say you may have to replace it more often. Even if I replaced it 5 times it would still be less than half of their charge. His reply was he would remember this in the future.

My Camaro got hit by a deer, took it to them to get it fixed and I got it back in horrendous condition. There was a body panel screw from my wheel well in my tire. Grease from the door they replaced in my door jam and on my rocker panel. They said they would clean the car before pickup and when I got there it was COVERED in water/soap spots. Now my vinyl wrap is completely ruined, spots will not come out after multiple washes. After confronting the manager about how I got my car he says that the screw looks to have been there for awhile since it has wear on it, but I didnt notice it till I was home so clearly it would have wear since I had to drive the car home. Said he had no idea how there would be grease on my car then had the audacity to say they said a “quick wash” not to be confused with a detail. Like what?!? All you had to do was properly rinse it and run a towel on it and it would be fine no one asked for a detail. The pictures are from when I got home right after the dealer. This shop was a preferred auto body repair shop with my insurance company. We chose from a list of companies to take our van here for repairs after being hit by a deer. The work itself was good. The manager Alex was lovely and very kind...but fair warning to all going in, do not go to the lead underwriter Jennifer sitting at the first desk. She was rude, condescending and not empathetic. She made the entire experience more difficult and failed to explain to us that the date our car was dropped off was not the date it would be disassembled and checked for extra damage purely because "we have rental insurance". I tried to explain and plead with her after discovering this that we have to pay a daily amount for our rental, even with insurance and that we were given a bad rental with a faulty transmission (but was better than the smoke-filled one they tried to give us earlier). Jennifer was rude the whole time when I was trying to ask why our van wasn't moved from the parking lot until two days after we dropped it off. If you want to continue to drive your vehicle instead of a rental until the unit is disassembled, you will need to get it cleared with the manager because FYI, Jennifer certainly will not tell you..I suggest another underwriter because Jennifer provided the worst customer service and she shouldn't be working with customers period. The manager was kind and made up for her lack of competence and the auto body work itself was great.

Art Moehn did a nice job repairing our car. Jennifer Miller is likely their best asset. When I called for a status update, she was amazingly courteous, and helpful. As many times as I called, she never seemed like I was bothering her, and repeated every time, that I was welcome to call any time I wished. I can’t emphasize how enough how friendly and helpful she was every time I called. Customer service is a tough job, and it can take a lot for a customer service representative to make customers feel like their company respects, and appreciates their customers, as effectively as Jennifer does. I should also say that every staff member that I had contact with was as kind, and helpful as Jennifer, so it’s likely a reflection on the company’s standard. I will recommend Art Moehn Collision to anyone who asks, but I give a special, “Thank You,” to Jennifer!
