Requested a tow for a car of mine. Was given a 35min wait time estimate, but after waiting almost 1.5hrs, I called in asking if they were still coming. Lady on the phone apologized & mentioned driver was behind schedule due to previous client complications. Sorta annoying, but I understand things happen. She told me it would still be another 25min until driver arrived. Total wait time was slightly above 2hrs. Upon driver arrival, I realized my car couldn't go into neutral since battery was dead. Driver gave me two options: jump start the car or figure out how I can manually release the shift lock to put it into neutral. he said it'd be an extra $50 charge to jump start my car & In order to tow my car we had to push it into the street since his tow truck didnt fit inside the tight parking spaces. Driver was determined in trying to help me find out on Youtube how to manually release the shift lock. Which I appreciated! He just got frustrated w/ me several times because I couldn't find out how. He was cool & just trying to help out just lacked patience, he also apologize for his outbursts. Unfortunately, after several attempts, we couldn't figure it out, & I didn't want to keep wasting his time. So we proceeded w/ the jump start option. I suggested if I could jump start the car w/ my own cables since I brought another car w/ me & to avoid the $50 extra fee. He said no, because regardless he'd still need to jump start my car once we arrived to take it out of park & back into neutral. The reason he said he had to do it that way was because he'd get in trouble if I jump started my own car from the top of the tow truck. Understandable I guess liability reasons. Okay whatever, had to do it that way, but once we arrived, my car did not even need a 2nd jump start because it shifted into neutral on its own but I was still charged the extra $50 regardless...Pretty pointless fee for something I told him I could do myself but he refused. The travel for the drop off was 2 miles out & total that I paid was $199 w the jump start fee included.

I was quoted $800 to be towed a half mile. I asked to speak to the supervisor and she said no. Don't bother with this company.

Ok, so… these guys were able to dispatch someone to me near immediately and when I was able to get my bike fixed before they left they didn’t even charge me! Great company!

Probably the kindest tow truck driver in the San Marcos area. Towed my RV. Great attitude & very professional. I honestly recommend.
