My car had a check engine light and an issue no other shop could resolve. They fixed my car up pretty quickly and efficiently. They’re very busy so you really gotta schedule an appointment in advance and be prepared to leave your car for a day or two but they do a great job. Vicky was also such a friendly staff member and so helpful.

Although our repair was a long and sometimes tedious experience, Victoria and the service department kept us up to date with daily calls. In the end, not only did they save us money, but we have a better truck! Way to go Asheville Ford!

First I want to say that I took my car in for a recall that I had received. I was also needing my oil changed and had some issues with my car, that I just purchased at the end of May 2024. I was told that they would plan to have my vehicle two days. I requested a loaner car because I have to work. The shop ended up having my car for 6-7 weeks! (I have kept all the correspondence with the shop). This is not acceptable. And too, one of the issues that was found was that I needed new struts. On a new car. This did not get fixed during this time frame because I was told that the struts were on back order as the car was new and so couldn’t be completed but it was safe for me to drive and I needed to come get my car and bring the loaner back because “loaners are not meant to be for an extended time”. What?! They still had my not fixed vehicle. I corresponded with Mike who was as helpful as he could be in relaying the messages he received from the shop. I picked up the car that still had the issues and was told they would contact me when the struts “came in” . Approximately 2 weeks later, after hearing from no one, I called the shop and left a message requesting to know if the struts were received by them. A week later I received a phone call informing me that they had received the struts and I needed to schedule an appointment for them to be put on and was then transferred to scheduling. The scheduling lady gave me a date and when I asked about the time frame, told me they could be done in one day. I went to the shop on the scheduled day and left my vehicle and was taken home by the Courtesy Van. We made an appointment for me to be picked back up at approximately 3:30. I called the shop and left a message requesting the status of my car at around 2p and stated that I would be there around 4p to pick it up. I then received a call back stating that they “were working on it but not sure who told me that it would be ready the same day because struts were a lot of work”. The Courtesy Van picked me up at the scheduled time and I arrived at Ford around 4p. My vehicle was ready and sitting in front of the garage doors. This is the second time that they have had a vehicle of mine for weeks on end. Is this typical? From what I hear, it definitely is not a normal time frame to have a vehicle this long, especially after being informed it would be two days. Has anyone else had this experience or have i just been the lucky one? I would like to thank Mike and Gerald in the garage. Although they could do nothing to make the time any faster they did respond to my calls requesting updates. So my answer for the question regarding “would I recommend Ford’s Mechanic Shop” is, I don’t think I’m a good patron to ask.

First time using Asheville Ford after moving to the area and the was excellent. Victoria did a great job managing my repair, ordering the part and the mechanics were efficient and repaired my F150 truck perfectly. Plan to use them again.

I own a 2021 f250, starter went out. The same day it broke down I came in and spoke with Gerald Rich. He was able to get my truck in within a few days and had it fixed in less than a week. Highly recommend. Truck was bought in Charlotte not Asheville Ford.
