Audi Palo Alto Service

Had to get Audi of America involved because of their none sense. Audi of America ended up ruling in my favor and questioned why they were giving me a hard time about a repair they clearly should have paid for. Also my car was at the shop for multiple days when it shouldn’t take that long to do. I have a buddy who is a mechanic and he laughed when I told him how long they had my car. They used the excuse there was a line. Well, if that’s the case they should use their heads and let me have kept my car until it was my turn. Had poor communication with the service manager Arnold. They are a joke of a repair shop and lack integrity. Call Audi of America if they are trying give you a hard time.

I purchased my hybrid Q-5 from Audi Palo Alto. The sales experience left a lot to be desired. I had to call to remind them to send me the sales docs. I had to return to the dealership because they forgot to give me the charging cable. The DMV paperwork wasn't clearly processed. They gave false information about their ability to repair a dent in the vehicle at purchase time. Then, I had to rely on their Service Dept. which is mediocre at best. Their waiting room is part of their showroom which makes customers waiting for repairs the target of anxious sales personnel. Today is Thursday and the Palo Alto Service Dept. couldn't help me today (or tomorrow, or Monday) with a transmission malfunction indicator. Stevens Creek Audi took me in immediately. They were compassionate and professional. I have a loaner vehicle from them and my car is in good hands. There are numerous 1- and 2-star reviews here for Palo Alto which could turn off some potential Audi customers. The Audi is a great car -- I have purchased 3 of them. Just keep in mind that you have a choice on which dealership to use.

Had to drop the car on short notice due to an unexpected sensor error and the fix took about 10 days as they were slammed with work and did not have spare parts in stock. Arnold was great providing me with regular/reliable status updates, which helped me plan my schedule while the work was going on. They also changed and rebalanced my tires and did not charge me for some additional work/parts that was provided due to a misunderstanding. Really appreciative.

Extremely bad service and communication. The people here just say you will get blah blah service before you pay the money, once you paid, they just gave tons of excuses and didn’t provide you what you’ve already paid for. The car warranty ensures you a temperory car to use while you are repairing yours, but they just say there’s no rental car at the moment. You asked for a deep cleaning for the car, they just randomly clean the outside of the car, and didn’t clean the inside at all, even though you asked this deep cleaning twice already. Never been to such a horrible place, won’t recommend for anyone.

Had 3 maintenance experience here. 20k maintenance report showed my breaks are in yellow zone, and the most recent 30k maintenance report showed my breaks are green zone. I requested for a re-inspection, and the result showed they were in red zone. So random......
