I brought them a 9” android display off amazon for $160 that had everything working except for the rear view camera. After a couple hours they let me know they couldn’t fix it because “heads units from China always have problems“. Then since it was cold I asked them to put the stock radio/temperature regulator back in and then had me pay $150 to do so… they did however offer an alternate solution — to install a head unit from a reputable brand. They conveniently sold the head units there and could do the install for $900-$1200 depending on if I want a 7” or a 9”. I said no thank you and brought the head unit to my friend’s house so he can take a look at it. With very limited experience working on cars, he watched two YouTube videos and had the rear view camera working on the android head unit in less than an hour. Sharing a pic of the head unit in case anyone wants to save $1000 too.

Very honest business!! I came in to get a price on a remote start & it turned out I already have it on my leased car. And I didn't know it. Mike gave me all the price info, then took one look at my key fob & said You have it already! And he showed me how to activate it. He could have taken me for $400 but he didn't. Thank you for your honesty, Mike! This is a good business to patronize.

I’ve been going to Audio Planet since 1992 when they had a booth at the Busy Bee Mall! Now at 43 I still go to them and my son just had his first car stereo done by them.
