Auto Tech Imported Car Service

This was my first time bringing my car to Auto Tech rather than the dealer. The place was clean and looked updated. The guys running the counter were polite and helpful. The car was ready on time with tires rotate/balance included in the normal maintenance, which was helpful. And they gave me a ride home to my door. Very good experience and professionally handled from start to finish.

Really friendly people, great prices and top notch service. I have a 6 yr old Lexus with low mileage. It doesn’t need a lot. Just regular upkeep. The dealership charged me >5 x for the same services last time.

They forgot to change serpentine belt after doing oil filter housing gasket. Gasket then shredded ( they thought because it had been sprayed with oil ) and got sucked into engine which did $4300 worth of damage which they wanted me to pay for. then gasket shredded again in 6 months and caused $600 worth of damage. this time the belt shredded not because of an oil leak but because the belt tensioner had always been broken. But again they wanted me to pay $600. With towing their mistakes cost me $5300. They never wanted to take the tiniest bit of responsibility. This is the nightmare shop of all time! Oh, and I am sure it was another mistake that led them to put me on the review list. After the first repair bill for $4300 they didn't give me the opportunity to review their shop. Now the owner is claiming that I refused to change a $35 belt after being informed that hot oil was pouring on it and it would soon shred the belt possibly ruining my engine. The truth is they forgot to change it and they forgot to inform me about it and they forgot to see if the belt tensioner was broken and causing the belt to shred.

I brought my BMW in for a second opinion and they gave me the reassurance that I needed. I appreciate their thorough and honest input. The shuttle service was great. They were quick to schedule me. Overall excellent service! I am very happy to have found Auto Tech :)

Cannot praise The staff enough! They followed through on every promise and kept me informed to be able to make an intelligent and informed decision. The dealer for my car could not find the problem and told me to drive it another 1000 miles then return and they won’t see if they could find the problem. I would have blown the engine. I am grateful for honest folks. Thank you so much!
