They charged me for diagnosing but didn’t do a complete diagnosis. I went in for noises my car was making and they quoted me 700, “fixed it” but the very same day it was still the same. I took it back the following day and was reassure it was the age of my car making my axils noises and it just needed grease (which they did not offer to do) 2 weeks later I’m almost in an accident because the axils are actually broken and I almost lost steering completely. They didn’t want to admit a mistake or to make it right. Just was told that this was a new problem and had nothing to do with what I had done (which is the problem). Front desk lady was very rude and unprofessional making jokes when I call after near accident. Was a customer for 3 years and not any longer.

....the best crew and staff.... they take very good care of their customers and are very good at what they do, I've never had any issues with them, and have never had any issues with work not being done right. And they are reasonable also. I won't take my vehicles anywhere else, I have also recommended them to everyone who has asked me for a good mechanic.

Relatively unknown story about me - I used to work at an auto shop from the ages of 15-21, and I am still friends with a handful of those I worked with. Why is this important, as non-trained mechanic it makes me know just enough to be dangerous and probably also contributed some to my career as a professional pilot. Well this isn’t about me, this is about Automotive Repair Services of Fountain Inn, which honestly I stumbled on by accident thinking they were another local company that I had received info about in the mail with a coupon for an oil change! I called up ARS because I had recently seen their logo on a sweet trucker cap - and mentally tied that hat to the coupon I had somewhere at home…regardless I called around 330 on hump-day to see if they could squeeze me in for a quick oil change - a friendly voice on the other line asked “well, how soon can you get here” to which I replied “soon enough” and she replied “well, come on down, we’ll get you in and out right quick” - well, this conversation may be slightly edited, but it’s how I remember it. Any who, the two ladies up front A&A (don’t know if they want their names on the web) and maintenance tech H all had friendly conversation with me while I waited. I’d venture to say they got me in and out within 30-35 minutes. Pretty solid for not having an appointment and getting in at the end of the day. While waiting I also asked for some quotes on high mileage routine maintenance. The quotes were all equal, better than, or at least about the same as other quotes from two other shops “in the area”. Simply after 1 oil change, this is my family’s new home for auto repair services. I know a good shop when I see one…correction I know a GREAT shop when I see one. Friendliness of staff 5 outta 5 Cleanliness of shop 5 outta 5 (from simply a peak along the bays - but this one is a biggie in my book) Parking lot 5 outta 5 (I’m looking at how many cars are in the lot and shop - and they’re busy enough - also a great sign in my book). Prices - 4 outta 5 (only because I need to locate my other quotes and have a deeper compare, and I have to find somewhere to knock down a point) Efficiency - 5 outta 5 (they got me in and out same day on short notice for an oil change) Thanks A, A and H - ya all sold me on making your shop my home for keeping my family’s vehicles in good running condition! (this damn yankee is still working on his y’all).

This repair shop went above and beyond for us! They stayed open over an hour late to fix an issue on our truck as we were passing through on a 20 hour drive to vacation. They quickly diagnosed our problem which required an additional part (that required a 1 hr round trip pick up). They waited for us to pick up the part past closing time in order to fix our issue. We called around to multiple places and no one would consider helping us as we would arrive in the area around 4pm on a Friday evening! We are very thankful for this company!

this is a very good place to take your car i had a great experience here trued it for the first time with my car and took it twice to get job done on it vinnie is an excellent owner and mecanic did a great job with my car i couldnt be happy very friedly staff and very helpfull the lady at front dest very polite and helpfull thank you
