First time Volvo owner and first time got service here. Overall positive experience, polite, attentive. However it was sooo long wait time, as everything in US I guess. What the point to schedule client to specific time and just keep him in line while serving other cars? I could just came 3 h later and tech will start working on my car right away.

Review for AutoNation Volvo Cars San Jose Service Center In April 2024, we purchased our Volvo XC90, which became the fourth Volvo in our family. Before this, I had a rather skeptical attitude toward service centers, as I often felt their main focus was not on you or your car but on your wallet. However, my opinion changed after visiting the AutoNation Volvo Cars San Jose Service Center. Our Service Advisor, Carlos Contreras, proved to be a true professional. Carlos was always attentive, patiently listened to our concerns, and explained everything in simple and clear terms. He provided thoughtful recommendations for the repair and maintenance of our Volvo and processed all the necessary paperwork quickly and efficiently. If I were to rate his work on a scale of 1 to 10, I’d give him a 10+! Thank you, Carlos, and the entire team at AutoNation Volvo Cars San Jose, for delivering such a high level of service and care for your customers. You’ve truly changed my perception of service centers for the better.

I recently visited Volvo for a routine maintenance and oil change, and while there, the technician discovered two additional issues with my car, one of which was critical and required immediate attention. Cheyenne, one of the Volvo service specialists, handled the situation with exceptional professionalism and care. She promptly informed me about the issues and made sure I was comfortable with the next steps. To make things even easier, Cheyenne went above and beyond by arranging an Uber for both my drop-off and pick-up, ensuring I wasn’t left stranded. Her exemplary customer service and the expertise of the Volvo technicians turned what could have been a stressful situation into a seamless and positive experience.

Dropped vehicle off for service 0800. 55 minutes later, no service representative was available to help me. Slowest dealer I have ever been to. There were available service advisors available. They just told me to wait for David. Update. Won't be back. Decided to buy a Tesla to avoid the dealership experience.
