I ordered an expensive part online for my vehicle and it came in the mail broken. It was difficult for myself to come in person, so I sent a friend to do the exchange and the part wasn't in stock, so the quick witted employees found a solution to the exchange. I am very grateful to have a vehicle to drive safely for my family due to their help. 🙂

I’mma say 3 stars because the guy who helped me was a trooper & super helpful. 1. The store was super busy, which I’m assuming is because it’s Friday & Microsoft got hacked so Advance Auto was cash only. ANYWAYS, so everyone was occupied. Not a problem. I waited patiently, the problem was… when the guy that was helping me needed help he asked and the (lead/manager?idk?) literally said, “is it quick?” Like I stayed quiet but in my head I was like “it’s literally NECESSARY to complete the transaction.” ….I asked for my veteran discount which can only be given if a higher up keys in a code. So kudos to the guy helping me because he helped me get a bundle/tried to get me a discount. 2. Unfortunately, it was also way too busy for managers to care about why the bundles for oil change filter/oil/air filter doesn’t add up because it’s not in stock. So I was a bit frustrated at all the time spent trying to figure out that when really all I needed was oil & an oil filter to begin with but the guy was trying to get me a deal so I rolled with it. When I said something under my breath to the guy helping me about how it seemed that his managers didn’t care about the bundle & to just take off the air filter… he stuck up for them being busy & such. So props to the integrity he has for his team. 3. Lastly, once all was figured out & the air filter was removed, the right bundle thingy showed on the screen which the the manager lady helped us fix but she was also supposed to be helping apply the veteran discount… & before paying I double checked with homie… & he said he knows she did it she’s just super quick at it &—sure I probably wasn’t paying attention, & I was just tryna save a few $ because it’s hard out here man… anyways, when checking my receipt I DID not have any veteran discount for sure. Just the bundle as advertised. Which I’m not mad about, I’m just I guess,—frazzled enough to write a review—at what I perceived as wasted time on my part /lack of care from management for their people & customers. The first person he asked for help literally tried to brush him (& customer) off / what & then the combined lady/guy that wouldn’t really pay attention to the whole bundle thing that the guy helping me was trying to do. But he still stuck up for them. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 3/5 stars — we get busy, but that doesn’t mean we get careless about our team/customers.

Decent experience today at AutoZone. Stopped in for replacement taillight bulbs for my Harley Street Glide Special. Was searching for correct bulb, had to Google it. Overhead a lot of laughing and talking, but nobody stopped to see if I needed assistance. Cashier was friendly when I checked out. I've had to change an alternater in their parking lot before.
