Customer service needs to be improved, bought many items that were defective. There was a lady who worked there who was excellent with customer service. But the new people there definitely need to be retrained. I purchased some parts for my car and three of them were the correct size but one of them wasn't. When I contacted them they told me that they couldn't give me store credit and they couldn't exchange the item for a more expensive item because I paid with a credit card they had to send it back to my credit card. On another occasion I bought a battery and it was dead in a month, they told me my alternator was bad so I bought a new one had it installed and it was bad so I had to get that replaced. When the alternator was replaced the battery was still bad so I got that exchanged under warranty and turned out that the battery that was exchanged under warranty the new one was bad, so long story short I would not recommend purchasing auto parts from the store.

ordered for pick up at 12pm, went to pickup at 5, waited patiently for 20 min as he “assisted” me, was told one of the items wasn’t available and was demonstrated a smaller version and i said that was fine it’s only 2$ less. I guess he decided he rather not sell me anything because he didnt do a refund on the difference of that one item, he refunded my whole order without telling me or looking for my items. He disappeared for 5 minutes, came back and told me “you buying anything” i was puzzled, i said just here for the things i came to pick up. He said none of it was there and had already refunded the whole order. But with all the time i had patiently waiting i could see from the register that it was clearly visible and on display. I just left in disbelief of the time I had wasted because this was the person in charge during my visit.

My vehicle had been damaged when another vehicle had driven to close and scraped the paint, leaving brown paint on my truck; as a result, I needed to go to 538 N H St, Lompoc, California 93436, today, November 12, 2022, to get some assistance with it. I was in a panic, and inquired for help, an employee who was working there at the time rushed over to my vehicle in order to see the extent of the damage. After assessing the damage, he swiftly provided me with the information necessary to clean the paint and repair the damages. Not only did he alert me about the scrapes, but he actually removed each and every one of them himself using the towel and the compound that I had purchased. He did this all by himself. It wasn't until the very end that he asked if there was anything more he could help me with and then introduced himself as the Store Manager (Julian) that I realized he was the manager. Prior to that, I had no clue he was. In order to be of assistance to me, the customer, he went above what was required of him, and I thank him. I will keep shopping at AutoZone because of their excellent customer service. He actual comfort me in the time of panic.

Just want to say excellent service from Manager Jose at Autozone ! He helped me with a motorcycle battery today that I had an issue with and I made it to work on time so grateful I am for that. Thank you so much Jose you went far and beyond customer service and you treated me with kindness and above all respect. Best customer service I’ve ever received and I appreciate you so much.

I recently had a great experience at AutoZone when I needed to buy and replace my car battery. Alex was incredibly helpful and took care of it. The entire experience was smooth and quick.
