It was a quiet night and I went it with my son who is newly disabled - amputee using a cane with prosthesis. He needed a turn signal bulb for his rear right light. We bought a few other things spending about $60 and staff was generally helpful. I asked if someone could maybe help us with the bulb but was told “sorry there’s only 2 of us here”. There was not one other customer in the store. As his mom I wished I could help him make his new used car legal but I couldn’t and I was flying home the next morning. Back home in Chicago if I go to Auto Zone the guys come out and help me if I need it for minor things. I guess it’s different here. 1/6/25 approx 730 pm visit

One guy working the counter with about 7 customers waiting in line. One guy pretending to be busy looking at a computer screen with no intention to help anyone and 2 on break busy watching videos on their phones. Customer service just doesn’t exist anymore.

Had the "awesome" experience of dealing with manager at the Dana Point location. First I waited for 15 mins while he sat in his car for an extended lunch. Then I got the 5 second brush off when I tried to exchange a faulty trigger on an AC Recharge. Guy didn't know what he was talking about and had ZERO customer service skills. How do these guys become managers when every other younger guy in the store was better at their job. Back to O'Reilly's I go....

Max gave me amazing recommendations over the phone and In store as well for my battery replacement. Highly recommend seeing Max, will be coming here for all future car parts.

Honestly disappointed with the customer service. I went to buy oil for my car and when I went to check out no one was in the front, I heard laughter and talking by the batteries. I waited a few minutes before a red shirt popped out. I also wanted to price match to Walmart but two managers denied it saying they couldn't. I've gone to Autozones in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Burbank; it's never been an issue. Why in this location? I rather take my business elsewhere. None of the managers had their name badges on, the one who helped me was an older gentleman with white hair, who asked another manager shorter with black hair. The only one with a name tag was a red shirt.
