B&M machine shop never lied to me and helped me make the best decision on my engine build. No one would help with my Subaru engine and it would be expensive to replace engine, Darrell machine engine to be rebuilt. This was my first boxer engine to build and Darrell gave me pointers to what for. They go beyond engine work. They are busy but, if you wait or come back when they tell you they help. They have working knowledge both on machine and building . You need a great machine shop during these times

They helped me out with my Nissan engine block when others turned me down saying they wouldn't touch it. They hot tanked, inspected, and resurfaced the deck for me. It did take about a month, but it's honestly because they are so busy (a good sign). You walk in and there are always engines being picked up and dropped off.

Had a chevy 427 complete re-machine, block, heads, crank. Darrel and his guys did an excellent job with all the machining, very professional and knowledgeable.Provided great recommendations on getting the best performance. Will definitely use again.

Darrel is the most respected machinist/engine builder in the upstate. His prices are fair, his knowledge immense and his work is impeccable. I know dozens of people who recommend B&M and you can be confident they will do the best work possible. He stands by his work and is there to answer any and all questions you may have. I am a repeat customer and cant recommend enough. If you were considering buying a crate motor, think again. There is no way you can beat the quality and performance of a build from B&M.
