Belle Tire

Saturday late afternoon/early evening I picked up a massive bolt in my tire right down the street from Belle Tire and it happened to be 10 minutes before they closed. They were extremely helpful and put my spare on. They kept the wheel and tire and fixed it Monday morning when they opened back up since they were closed Sunday. They didn’t have to go out of their way to help me so close to closing time but they did which was really amazing. They patched the tire for free which I did not expect and I picked the wheel and tire back up this morning and took it to work. I put it back on there since I had my own tools and didn’t have a lot of time to wait this morning. I appreciate all the help and great service. I really want to thank everyone there for their help when I was stuck in a bind Saturday. I’ll recommend this place to people if it’s anything wheel or tire related. I drive a tow truck for a living in Ann Arbor and I get people asking for recommendations all the time and this will be the first place I’ll recommend. Ive had mixed interactions at other places around town so it’s nice to have first hand experience with certain shops and situations like this. It’s important to me that my customers are taken care of by honest repair shops when I’m asked for a recommendation. This experience went a long way with how I feel about recommending them.

Guy with a lisp didn’t listen to what I was saying and wanted to charge for the “free” brake inspection. I just told him how I replace my brakes and he didn’t hear that and said “just take it back to the shop you got the work done. We’d HAVE to charge you here.” No thanks Alex.

This location as well as every other belle tire in ann arbor (2 other locations) have had a broken air pump for two weeks. I understand it's a free product they offer, but it's disappointing when a service is advertised but unavailable for so long.

Horrible. Brought my car in. I asked them to check my battery because it stalled. They lied and said the battery was bad and the new battery would be $540! Aaa came out to look said my battery was great and it may be my alternator. They just didn’t want to look at my car cause they were having a rough day. It horrible to try and take advantage of a woman not knowing what they are going through. I’ll never come back.

I would definitely get a second opinion before doing extra repairs that this location suggests. I strictly come to Bell Tire to have my tires swapped out for the summer and winter seasons. It's convenient, they can easily reset my tire sensors, and if one of the tires need any kind of repair, they will get it done! Having said that, I will not trust them for anything else! I always change my own brakes and rotors, and do other minor repairs on my car. So when they told me last year that a set of my brakes were completely trashed and needed immediate repairs, I scratched my head when both axles had at least 6 months left on them (or better). This year, I was told that "MY REAR BRAKES WERE SO BAD, THAT LEGALLY, THEY ALMOST COULDN'T PUT THE TIRES BACK ON WITHOUT FIXING THEM!" I waited until I did the front brakes before doing this review (in case they mixed up the axles). The picture with 1 rotor is from the rear axle The picture with 2 rotors is from the front.
