Benson Body & Paint

I was missing a screw for my door latch. They spent time trying to find a match and helping us to get the latch working...treated us great and didn't charge for their time. If this is how they treat customers who aren't bringing in revenue, I can imagine how well they treat their paying customers. Highly recommend.

I ran across Benson Body & Paint as a result of personal research as well as recommendations from friends and a mechanic’s shop that I’ve done business with. I was confident in proceeding with contacting the owner and asking for a bit of his time. I filled out the “contact me” section of the website and attempted to provide adequate detail concerning what I wanted to do. To my surprise I received a phone call only a few hours later. I spoke with the owner and we discussed what I wanted to have done. I will admit, what I originally had in mind (a full repaint of my car) was not feasible for a myriad of reasons. After John gave me a breakdown of what he would recommend based on his 30+ years of experience we agreed to a date and time for him to inspect my car. I arrived at the shop 5 minutes before my scheduled appointment. I was greeted by John’s partner whom was very polite, greeted me, and informed me that John was currently running an errand and would be back shortly. I allotted additional time in my schedule to account for such an event and let John’s partner know that I understood and would be willing to wait. I waited for a total of half an hour. In that time, John’s partner checked on me several times, apologized for the wait, and said he was attempting to contact John. Unfortunately, I can only wait so long, and I had to leave to get back to work. I thanked John’s partner for his time and expressed personal disappointment at the unfortunate events. I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment, not for their quality of work as I was unable to even broker a deal. No, my review is based solely on the lack of professionalism that I experienced. I am an understanding individual; had I been contacted a head of time I would have happily rescheduled. However, I was paid no such courtesy.

I went here to get my bumper replaced. I was hesitant at first not to go to a big shop, but I’m very glad I chose Benson Body and Paint. They did a really good job matching the paint to my car, and did what they said they would do when they quoted me time and money. It’s an old school style shop ran by a couple of guys that keeps things simple enough yet gets the job done right. They clearly know what they are doing, are more affordable than other spots I researched, plus went above and beyond to work around my schedule. I hope I won’t need to get body work done again, but if I ever do or need a touch up, I’ll definitely return here for sure. Thanks, y’all!
