I had a horrible grinding sound coming from my front passenger wheel well and I was afraid it might not even be safe to drive. I spoke with Radu over the phone and he said to bring it in and he would take a look at it. He was so friendly and polite, immediately jump to work looking at my car. He took it for a little test drive around his property and then put it up on the left. It turned out that there was a small piece of plastic pressed up against the rotor. He moved it out of the way and then inspected my brakes and let me know that I had between 5 and 10000 miles left on them. I asked if I should get them changed now and he said no, that it was fine to wait, that I had plenty of time. Ive only been to one other mechanic who was honest and told me something could wait. Especially as a woman, I feel as though they tend to give me tons of different things that I need to fix right now or my car is going to explode in a ball of fire on the freeway. I am so very grateful that I was able to leave with my car no longer making a sound without having spent a penny. I will definitely be back in 5 to 10 thousand miles to get my brakes done.

Bill & Jim's is no longer run by Bill & Jim, just some sketchy crook who likes to overcharge his customers. Stay away. My family took a car there and got absolutely ripped off. There are plenty of other repair facilities in the area and I'd bet any of them are going to be more upstanding than this guy is.
