After having issues with my 2004 Impala's original transmission shifting hard, slipping, and throwing a P1811 code I stopped and talked to Bill. We came to the decision with my budget and the wear+mileage (252,000 miles) I should get a used 130,000 mile transmission. After installing it, he test drove it and it did okay I picked it up and it started shifting hard later that day. Called him up and it was able to be warrantied for the cost of parts to repair which was just a simple solenoid. Picked it up and its shifting much much better now no more hard shifts and no more slipping. Everything was done quickly and professionally and it's almost like he was never in the engine bay he did such a good job. If your having transmission issues he's the guy to speak with.

Driving thru Mayfield I was have transmission concerns. I was referred to Bill Veatch. I talked my concerns over the phone to him and he said to bring it over for him to look at. He spent 45 minutes talking, driving, and diagnostic work. Explained to me what was going on and gave me his card to have my mechanic back home call him if there were questions how to fix. I offered $ but he refused and asked that I pay it forward. I will!
