Finally a knowledgeable and honest mechanic shop! I first went to another local mechanic who found many codes that came up… looking to get a second opinion, I tried Black Forest Auto Works. To my surprise, the mechanic ended up saving me tons of time and money and fixed the issue in a matter of 5 minutes. It’s no wonder this guys been in business 40+ years!! Cut through the bull**** and ripoffs and come to this auto shop! I will be taking all my complex repairs here from now on

My car got hit while it was parked, and I happened to see the guy scraping my front bumper with his rear door. The damage was bad enough to bring it to the shop. My expectations were exceeded from the moment I dropped it off. They are knowledgeable about insurance and took care of the whole thing. The rental people came to the shop to drop off the rental, the insurance texted me the estimate, the shop communicated via text the progress, and I had no stress because they handled it all! It was great!

They are Absolutely wonderful!! Some one rear ended me and I had to bring my car in for a new bumper. Both Bryan and Michelle were amazing, they made it so easy so simple… I won’t go anywhere else to get my car fixed moving forward. Highly recommend

This is the most outstanding auto body repair shop you will ever encounter. Michelle is the most professional person in the industry and handles every aspect of your repair needs with extreme understanding and exceptional attention to the details of your issues. I’ve had several repairs completed there and each time they have helped make it easier to get through the repair process which would have been much more stressful with any other collision vendor. Thank you sooo much to this shop for the continued help And such excellent service!

Someone backed up into my car in a parking lot on vacation, denting the quarter panels, fortunately all cosmetic damage but required careful repair. I was referred to Black Forest by a trusted Subaru service manager and it was also fortunate they are a Geico Express Shop which made things easier. While Geico's bureaucracy was not particularly a pleasure to deal with, the folks at Black Forest were terrific and did all the could to expedite that side of the process and helped me navigate that tedious aspect. The owner, Brian, is really passionate about his business and a good guy. His trusty dog Cooper told me he's a good guy : ) Michele was outstanding; super communicative and incredibly knowledgeable. Really important as my 16 year old car is a bit of a unicorn and a collectible with super low miles, albeit not a particularly high value car. They were careful with the tricky factory paint match- black with an underlying metallic in green, silver and blue. Michele understood my attachment to the car and noted the unique engine that it had. So I like dealing with people who "get it" and show respect for others personal interests/property. I traveled a distance to work with Black Forest they were by no means means local to me. That's why as an independent business they've apparently been around for a while. I like to support that. Some small details/adjustments needed to be tended to afterward; they were handled promptly while I waited. The work overall was exceptional ! So if you're a car aficionado or just like working with nice, professional, competent folks, feel confident that Black Forest will do a great job for you
