Boyd's Northgate Tire & Service

As always, our experience with Boyd's was excellent. We had some break work done and are very happy with it. The front desk and mechanic teams are great to work with, explain the work that needs to be done, and any potential issues they find that may need to be addressed in the future but don't need immediate attention. We never take our cars anywhere else.

This was my second time getting tires and an alignment at Boyd’s Northgate location in Westerville. It’s an hour drive from my house but I do it because they are a great shop. Trustworthy and a fair price. Their work is solid and they stand behind it. I got four Michelin Cross Climate tires for my 2020 Subaru Outback. They gave me an appointment, honored it, and had the work done in an hour and 40 minutes while I ate lunch and shopped at Kroger next door. I definitely recommend these guys.

So, things didn’t quite go as planned for the maintenance I had scheduled with Boyd’s yesterday. Their work is always well done- by evidence that they are an extremely busy shop! We live close by and always drop our cars off early morning for them to work sometime during the day. Usually, I’d get a call late morning to early afternoon saying the work had been completed. But today, no such call. Puzzled, and needing my car, I called to check up around 4pm. They said they had been very busy and that the car had just been pulled in. Subsequently got a call an hour later that the work was done. Honestly, not happy that they had my car all day for regular maintenance, but truly expect that’s the way it goes sometimes- at least it was done. When I arrived, they admitted to me that I had fallen thru the cracks in their work flow and didn’t realize it till I had called at 4. The 5 stars today comes from being stand-up guys and admitting to not having my car done much earlier (which is rare, especially for an auto shop), and second, for comping their services for the day and apologizing for not meeting their own expectations. I appreciated that and offered to still pay, but they were insistent. Thanks to Boyd’s for standing on their word to provide excellent customer service and being great neighbor- see you at the next check!

My family has always had good experiences with Boyd. I had not needed a car repair for sometime. I let them know I was having it dropped off they were able to look at it and determine the problem. They needed a day to get the part and it was ready the next morning. Another excellent experience with them.

I called about a Goodyear Tire that I had found online. Brendan shared about a brand that they sell directly for my car. I loved the price as well as the service. They’re a great company to work with. I was able to drop my car off the night before and they had it completed before 10:00 am. I am very pleased.
