I got a few quotes and the prices beat everyone else in ventura and Los Angeles county. Services are efficient and done in a timely manner. Great service and communication. It's hard to get my car into a place on the weekdays due to work, so I was really pleased to see they had Saturday hours. Needed to have my brakes checked because I could tell it was probably time for some work to be done. They did a free brake check, and then let me know what they were seeing. Brett was very honest and didn't push me to have anything done that was not needed. I have an issue trusting car repair/shops sometimes because I'm not someone who knows too much about cars and can't do any work on my own. I left with my car after having my break oil, pads, and rotors changed feeling very satisfied and that I made the right decision coming to this shop.

My history with taking care of my vehicle isnt the best one but im trying to change that, so i was searching for a kind and reputable mechanic to help me out with my little 05 matrix. Brett at Breaks and Wheels was exactly what i was looking for! He was willing to tell me piece by piece what was wrong and why it was important to fix it, even explaining what was necessary right now and what has time to get done. There was no pressuring into decision making and no reprimanding for the parts i have wrongly neglected; just pure love of his job and willingness to help me get my car back to running smooth. I wish i had some before photos to showcase the work that was actually done here but this is after a complete engine washing that was needed because of an oil leak. I bought this car used so this is the cleanest i have ever seen it!! I am beyond impressed by this service and will be recommending to family and friends. I wish these guys a successful business far into the future, they sure deserve it!

I honestly can't recommend Brett and Jose enough! They are incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and transparent about every repair needed on my car, always explaining the issue clearly and providing detailed options for fixing it. This time around I ended up having a gasket and coolant leak, after my JCW Mini started to overheat. The oil and coolant sprayed all over my engine. Not to mention the lingering burnt smell. Brett and Jose went above and beyond for me. Not only did they fix the issue, they made my engine look brand new and no longer smelling. Truly trustworthy mechanics who puts their customers first. Live pretty close by and decided to walk in one day while walking my dog. Brett and Jose are super friendly and helpful. At first I wanted to know how much a new set of tires and wheels would be and they gave a fair estimate. I ended up get used wheels somewhere else, but needed the TPMS sensor from my OEM wheels transferred so I came back here. Again, gave a fair price and breakdown what would be needed. Made an appointment and got it done here. Will come back for any further upgrades needed for my car.
