Bruno's VW & Audi Repair

First let me say that the service was good. I feel like it was way too expensive, but good. The job got done, even if I was the one that had to call a few times to get info on what was going on and to let them know to eventually order a new part if that’s what it took to get the job done. I would’ve appreciated updates instead of having to call every time. But they got the job done. But when I picked up the car today I noticed a a bunch of dirt and grease on the front passenger side bumper and sure enough there was a scratch there… granted my car is not without a few scratches but I don’t need anyone, especially the shop that’s servicing the car, putting anymore on it, but I was in a rush, driving out of town and needed to be on the road within minutes of picking up my car so I just drive off frustrated but also happy to be on the road. Then when I stopped for gas I noticed the rear driver’s side rim also had a couple scratches on it and that frustrated feeling came back. I mean come on. I know it’s not your car but if you’re servicing it, you should treat it as such. Again, is it a huge deal? No, not really but those two spots will now be two more eye sores on my car. So for doing the job I’d give them a 5. They seem very knowledgeable and confident and that’s a major plus. Customer Service? Maybe a 3 1/2 because I shouldn’t have to keep calling to find out what’s going on with my car and offering suggestions, that’s your job. And finally for car care? There shouldn’t be a single scratch on your car you didn’t put there. I’ll refrain from scoring because I haven’t washed the car off yet and I’m afraid just how much those two areas will stand out.

I recently had an outstanding experience at Bruno’s VW & Audi Repair. I spoke with Sal to schedule my drop off, and he made the process smooth and easy. dropped my car off at 10 am on Monday & by 3 pm they had already diagnosed the issue. They sent over a detailed link outlining the findings and recommended services & I could approve or decline each item right away. Their team was incredibly respectful and professional. Tom even gave me a call to personally explain what they found, making sure I understood all the options. After accepting their recommendations, my car was ready for pick up by Tuesday at 3 pm a super fast turnaround! I’m so glad I listened to the positive reviews. Thank you, Bruno’s! We’ll definitely be back!

My 2014 VW Beetle needed timing chain replaced. I took it to Bay Ridge VW dealer after a local repair shop declined the job, waited one week and got an estimate of over $ 13,000 for the essential repairs needed. I almost told them to junk the car, but then I found Bruno. Bruno saved my car for $ 4,000! I was thoroughly impressed with their professionalism, and they are not only prompt and courteous, from manager to mechanic were full of friendly helpful advises. They even straightened out my banged up license plate without my asking. Really great work ethics, knowledge, and efficiency. I only had to wait for 3 days to be back on the road again. Don't think twice, just let them take care of your VW, Audi problems. They are the super pro.

My 2011 VW Jetta had its cat stolen and it fried my computer. At Bruno's they ran down my options with me and didn't just take my money without telling me possibilities of my aftermarket computer I bought for super cheap not working. They were very upfront and honest and fair with the labor price. After having 9 fault codes and not being able to pass inspection I was just about to donate my car and call it a day. Thank God there are still good honest mechanics still around. My car passed and she's back on the road legally

I took my car in about 2 weeks ago for a timing chain job on my 2017 VW Passat 1.8T. I was nervous at first, because I never used these guys before, and timing chain jobs are big, and a serious part of the engine's maintenance. They promised me that I would be in and out in 1 working day. They also promised me that the job would be done correct, and the engine would run smooth, again. All promises were kept, and I am very happy! I will be returning for sure. Very dependable, and reliable, as I use my car for work. 100% Highly recommended! Sincerely Sam
