I was originally going to bring my car to a popular car mechanic, but received an insane quote of $800 for a job that I believed wouldn’t cost that much. I was referred here from Francis at the smog-check place right next to Buu Auto. I was able to schedule an appointment super easily (unlike said other popular car mechanic). Upon arriving I was greeted/helped politely and friendly by Patrick. Not only were they able to get my car fixed within a few hours, but I spent 3 times LESS than what I was quoted at the other mechanic. I’ve already gone back again for other repairs needed for my car. They’re kind, professional, do great work, and are a diamond in the rough!! I've been bringing my vehicles to this shop for over 13 years, they have *always* taken amazing care of them - even on difficult elderly vehicles. In only 1 or 2 instances was there ever rework needed, and they happily took the vehicle back to ensure the issue was fully solved to my satisfaction. Buu, Patrick, and team are top notch - I don't take my vehicles anywhere else.

I have been using this shop in Sunnyvale for 15 years now, and counting. The reason I keep coming back (and I live in Campbell, so it's not the closest shop) -- is that I can rely on expertise that Buu and his team provides, always! From small jobs like oil change and regular maintenance to major work (yeh, once had to change engine and transmission on a car - thanks, GM!!) -- they are here to help. Horrible experience. I regret why did I take my car to this shop. I went this shop to get break pad and rotors changed. Day 1- They replaced breakpad and rotors and returned my car without testing. I was seeing altogether a new problem, every time I break its making big noice. Day 2: I went to the shop and reported the issue, I took him for test drive to show the problem. He didn't even acknowledge that they didn't fix it properly. He simply said, leave the vehicle for 3hrs. Day 3 : I went to drop the vehicle, he took about 3hrs and called me to pick up the vehicle. I picked up the car, nothing is fixed. I called him and reported the issue. This time also he didn't even acknowledge. Simply said, bring the vehicle again. Day 4: He sent a mechanic with me for test drive. I showed the problem. He said something wrong, seems breakpads are not compatible. I left the vehicle again. I told him, I have to go office can you fix it soon. He again said, 3 hrs. I had to make alternate arrangement for my work. On the day, he finally fixed the issue while handing over Mr.Patric says car is sensitive for the breakpads :). So wiered. breakpads made for the car. Or car should be made compatible for breakpads. :)Mistakes can happen to anyone, but Mr.Patric you don't even have courtesy/basic ethics to acknowledge your own mistake. Do you think, people have days of time to come to your shop. Understand people concern like if you are in that position.You have taken money to provide the service, others should not suffer for your mistake.

Good service. Sad to see them closed. COVID has impacted some hardworking and honest businesses. Wish Buu and his talented team, a very best. I am hoping Buu comes back from this downturn and start his own business. Will definitely go back to him.
