Caledonian auto is the best in the west. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my vehicles, and especially my F350 I rely heavily on to haul horses with. They know diesel engines inside and out, and have made me feel so much more comfortable on the road. It’s not often you feel like your mechanic truly has your best interests in mind, but they genuinely care. As a female who has previously felt taken advantage of in the vehicle department, they go the extra mile to build trust and confidence that you are receiving quality work at a very fair price. Terry and the crew are knowledgeable and trustworthy. Have had them do work on multiple different vehicles and a pre-purchase inspection. The work is always great and the price fair. The pre-purchase inspection gave us a ton of useful information to go back and negotiate with and ended up savings us not only money but headache as well. Highly recommend!

When I say the best...I mean the BEST auto mechanic I've EVER been to. Terry, the owner, is a gem of a human. Being a female going into an auto shop, it's already expected I'm on my A game becuase most mechanics will add things to the bill that you don't need and hoodwink you. Terry was the EXACT OPPOSITE. It's clear as day he cares about his customers and creates such an amazing experience from the moment you come in stressed that your car is messed up, to the moment he assesses the issue and repairs. Caledonia did a great job repairing my 2014 Ford Escape. The AC needed freon, I had cracked a cv joint and it needed need cabin air filters. The price was fair and they did an outstanding job. Terry was my point of contact and he was also the person who did the troubleshooting. It takes time to find the little noises that customers describe. But he did it. Great auto repair shop! I highly recommend this business!

If I could give them a 0 star I would. I initially took my car in for an alternator repair and the check engine light on. They improperly diagnosed the car and said it was only the battery. I Paid $200 to have it replaced. The day after I picked up the car I was driving down the freeway and the check engine light goes on again only with the car smoking and the engine seizing. I had it towed back. They say the engine is burnt out and needs total replacement. So I pay over $6,000 to have it replaced. The day after I pick it up the check engine light goes on again! I have it towed back because I have a 1 year warranty now(so I thought). Only to have them repeatedly turn off the check engine light and send me on my way. Three times I went back and never got the problem resolved. In my opinion these guys are unethical or incompetent. Either way not worth the time, money or headache.
