Awesome job! Nothing super crazy just had a snapped bolt in the block. Responded right away and even stopped by on his way home to give a quote! Showed up on time and was great to work with. Normally works on large semi trucks but had no issue working on our 3500

Did great work on my truck. My radiator cracked at the beginning of the month when everything was due. Cannons mobile repair saved me a ton of money and got me back rolling. Did not flake out or no show me like others did, communication was great and accepted all payment methods which was key for me. Will be my first call for all my maintenance from now on.

—Power Steering Pump Replacement on a 2003 Dodge Ram 3500– While waiting for an opening to pull out from a very narrow parking lot exit and make a very sharp turn onto a busy street in my dually, I incurred damage to my power steering pump by holding it all the way to one end for too long. Every turn thereafter produced a loud whine and moan from inside the engine bay, along with severe vibration and shuddering in the steering column. So I bought an upgraded pump, reservoir, and pulley to replace it. However, when removing the stock power steering pump, I ran into trouble. First, a piece of the reservoir broke off about 2” deep inside the hose. Then I was having a very hard time trying to disconnect the high pressure line, and after trying for a long time I was afraid I’d round out the nut if I kept going at it. So I was stuck, and had to admit that I would need someone else to finish the job. However, most shops won’t finish work that a customer began themselves, and even fewer will use customer-bought aftermarket parts. Even if I did find a shop that would finish the work I began and use the parts I bought, I would’ve had to arrange for a tow as the vehicle was now inoperable, due to the power steering pump pulley being part of the vehicle’s serpentine belt routing (and the broken reservoir pieces inside the hose). I had to find a mobile mechanic who would be willing to finish the job with the parts I bought. A Google search produced Cannon’s Mobile Truck Repair, Inc., and after seeing very positive ratings and reviews, I called the number and Alex answered. I explained my situation and asked if he would be willing to finish the job I started and use the parts I bought, and he said yes. Alex came out, removed the rest of the broken pieces of the reservoir from inside the hose, disconnected the high pressure line, and had the new pump, reservoir, and pulley installed in barely an hour! He had me test the steering and it was even better than before, and with no noise, vibration, or shuddering. Alex’s workmanship was excellent, and the bill was certainly fair (and far less than I was expecting to spend if I had to tow it somewhere and pay for shop-ordered parts and labor). Thank you, Alex. You got me out of a really tough spot. If I was able to give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!
