We have been going to Mister Lee for many years, as my parents have always trusted him as trustworthy, knowledgeable, and efficient. He will never up-charge and prices are always reasonable. Friendly family-run business with his son; and the way he cares for the shop’s resident feline, Millie, I will always continue to support business run by decent and kind people. We actually moved further away from the area but still continue to bring our cars here for any issues due to the quality of care. Highly recommended as a go-to local auto shop!

When you think of a good mechanic, the first few words that usually come to mind are “professional”, “efficient”, and “honest”. These three characteristics are not just found in Car Life Auto Care - they are amplified. I have been going to Car Life Auto Care, a family-owned, local business, for a few years now, and I cannot imagine going anywhere else. Every kind of job that I went in for - from oil changes, car inspections to fixing dents and scratches from a car collision (with beautiful results!) to asking trivial questions such as “why is this light showing up on the dashboard?” - all were met with professionalism (respect, knowledge, and skill), and all were resolved with desirable results, the aptitude and care evident with each job. I especially appreciate the transparency of the time that it will take to get a job done. Loyal customers know how great this business is, and so there is an understanding that there can be varying wait times depending on if there are other cars/jobs ahead of you when you call/arrive. They are forthcoming about the time and have been good on their word, getting the job done by the time they’ve given you, if not earlier. The results, efficiency, and care (which I hope all customers can recognize) keeps us coming back. Car Life Auto Care is straightforward and honest in every way - with fees, duration of the job, recommendations, etc. -, and their kindness is a bonus. I recently visited this auto shop for the first time and immediately noticed how responsible and honest they are. I had an issue where my car felt like something was catching whenever I reversed and braked. They initially thought it was due to another part and replaced it, but the issue persisted. After several hours of thorough diagnostics, they finally identified and fixed the real problem. Throughout the process, they were completely transparent about what they found and what they were doing. Unlike other places that replace parts unnecessarily and charge you for it, this shop stands out for their honesty and accountability. Their reputation for good service seems well-deserved, as they are always busy. I highly recommend this auto shop!

Lived in NYC for over 33years. Previous auto shop retired. Been going here for over 3 years. My family moved out of state and they still talk about how this is the best auto shop. Really genuine, fix only the issue, and honest with legit fair pricing. This is still the best service and price. And it’s family owned that’s honest? They deserve every dollar and probably more. I have an older car, Nissan 2010. One time it sounded crazy, I showed up to the owner, and he said it might just be rust so test drive it then come back. He was right. Could’ve charged me for a fake issue like most auto shops would in nyc, but didn’t. And now this is the only place I recommend and the only auto shop I’ll go as long as I live here. Years ago I used to live in Staten Island. This auto shop was still my only primary location. Other shops estimated fake quotes and issues. To this day my car is perfectly running because of this place.

After taking my Dodge Viper to a few other places to have the old damaged paint protective film removed no one would do the job because they said it was to time consuming and difficult to do.One place gave be a ridiculous high estimate to do so . luckily I found Car life auto care.John had a positive attitude and agreed to do the job at what I considered a very fair price .I Was extremely satisfied with the finished job.They do excellent work and I would definitely recommend Car Life Auto Care.Also had my car inspected .
