You can tell from the moment you step in the door that Carnell Collision is a smaller, family run business. It’s pleasant not being in a gigantic chain where the feeling of empty promises and substandard service is enough to “get by” and “turn a profit.” Chris is a genuine owner and pleasant to interact with. The timelines for work were very accurate. The pricing was completely fair. Unfortunately for me, the quality of paintwork leaves room for improvement. I am not sure if my bumper being plastic makes it more difficult for paint to adhere to it, or if maybe because the work was done in November the low temperature affected the outcome, but at less than 7 months I have tons of cracking and bubbles. Some rock chips are to be expected but the amount of paint falling off is surprising. One of the fog light bulbs has already burnt out and the reflective coating on the inside of the other is separating from the housing. I don’t want to be one of those people who have unrealistic expectations but I feel quality work should last longer than this. UPDATE. About 50% of the paint is off my replaced front bumper within 8 months of having work done.

The quality of parts he was able to secure was top notch along with the required paint work. Having to deal with insurance after a collision is stressful enough, and I was extremely grateful for Chris' work and how easy he made the repair process. Most of all my truck looks absolutely brand new!
