Between now and when i write the full review, i have a very simple piece of advice for anyone reading this. Call Carotech Auto, ask Gary when you can drop off your car and then trust him and his expert team to fix your car properly, for an extremely fair price and with the best warranty I've encountered from any auto mechanic shop in my life. Do not bother wasting time reading other reviews. This place is absolutely without compare the best auto repair shop in LA. Thank you Gary. For those who may be wondering, I found Carotech through a Google search and spoke to Gary for the first time about 72 hours ago. He suggested i drop my car off Wednesday. I just picked it up today (Thursday 11/9/2023) and the work done on it was exceptional in all respects. I'll never go to another auto mechanic as long as i remain in Los Angeles. But to be clear, prior to 3 days ago, i knew nothing about Gary or his shop. And my car had been neglected for the past 6+ years. It was also filthy and the engine compartment was an embarrassment to even see.

Gary and team were exceptional! After thinking that the damage to the right front tire of my 2010 Subaru was beyond repair, I took it to Carotech and they were able to assess the damage (+ photos/explanation), provide a reasonable quote, and repair in around two weeks. When I went to pick up my car, I was greeted with a smile and firm handshake. This team does such great work - highly recommend.

I’m not sure how this guy (in red shirt) gets any good reviews. I went there to get an estimate for my car and he kept saying oil change for a smart car is $150. I said: I have 40k mile on the car, I need a major service. Can you give me an estimate? He said no, I don’t have time. Come back some other time. Extremely rude and unprofessional. I WOULDN'T TRUST THIS GUY. This was a $8-900 job he just tuned down. He’s charlatan is he charges $150 for oil change on a smart car. Even one star is too much for him.

I replaced my tires, filters, and brakes at Carotech and they did a wonderful job. Service was quick and professional and great overall. My car was cleaned from the inside out including the engine part. I highly recommend this place for all your car service/repair needs and especially Gary who was very patient kind and professional with me.
