I recently had the pleasure of visiting checkered flag service center for maintenance on my vehicle.. From the moment I walked in I was impressed by the professionalism and knowledge of the service I needed. The rep Joel and technician took the time to explain the necessary appears in details and provide me with options that suited my needs and budget. The service center itself was well organized, which creates a welcome atmosphere. Overall, I was truly impressed with the service I received and would highly recommend checkered flag service center for any automotive maintenance. I was driving my 2018 Volkswagon Passat on the LIE when the engine started to throttle and the car shaked. I got off in Westbury and found Checkered Flag Auto Center on Google Maps just three minutes away. Gil in the office was friendly and understanding. He explained the process clearly and told me the diagnostic testing would be done right away. An hour later I got a call from Joel who told me the results of the testing, that a part needed to be ordered and that the repair would be done the next day. And that is exactly what happened. The cost of the repair was fair and the service was excellent. I went into Checkered Flag Auto Center unhappy that my vehicle had an engine problem and I left a very happy customer. I highly recommend Checkered Flag Auto Center.

I called two hours before closing desperate to find an inspection site to service me for insurance purposes. I explained to Gil, the empathetic and genuine owner, of how I was turned away twice by a nearby inspection site two days in a row. Despite it being close to their closing time, Gil without hesitation advised me to come in to have my car inspected. Not only was he patient with me, he was extremely helpful. As a medical professional, I take heed to those who put themselves in others’ shoes. He not only did my inspection, but gave me a few tips on cars! Thank you so so much for your help Gil!
