I had a check engine fault on a toyota truck that caused the transmission to go into Limp mode and only worked in first gear. I generally do most maintenance to my truck, but not transmission work-that's why I went to Citrus Transmission. David identified the fault as a throttle relay error. He was to replace the TPS relay. He called to tell me that the Throttle body was so dirty, they needed to clean it. I said OK, $175 to clean throttle body and replace the TPS relay. The next day (Friday) he said everything was working. I picked up the Truck and within 5 miles from the shop It faulted, check engine, and transmission limp mode again. I called and left message from 9am to 1pm Saturday, no answer. On Monday I called. He said he needed to order a new Throttle body, and that he'd call me to confirm a price. By Thursday I still had never heard back. I ordered a Throttle body ($575) on my own and replaced it - took 20 minutes. Truck is working perfectly. The old Throttle body was NEVER cleaned and the TPS relay clearly was not replaced despite what I paid for. I was so furious, I took the old TPS sensor and put it on the new throttle body. The fault and check engine came on after driving around the block. The entire problem was a $29 TPS replay, that these crooks charged me $49 for but actually NEVER REPLACED. I would seriously choose another service center!

Needed transmission replaced. Monte found leak into radiator. Had radiator replaced also. Pricing very competitive. Monte is very thorough and efficient. Cool guy!!! Completed work before promised. And he does other repairs too!

Monte is a class act, took care of replacing my 2003 Ford Explorer transmission with 196K miles and I am very satisfied with the rebuilt transmission performance and follow up. Would recomend this business for honest work and fair prices.
