Classic Collision

Don't go here! Car in accident, so Allstate sent me here. They totalled the car but I paid to have it fixed anyway. Spent almost $13,000 and picked up car thinking all was well. Over the course of 8 months of repairs and repaint, I had come to like Dave and Sylvia, but, I learned the hard way, that Dave doesn't double check the work being done at his shop, nor does he protect the vehicle from further harm. I originally gave great reviews and thought all was well, until I got the vehicle home and started cleaning it. Here are the problems identified that changed my original opinion: 1. A car that had no interior damage now had a 3"×1" tear in driver's leather seat. 2. Windows that worked and sealed properly, now don't roll up correctly or seal. This was supposedly addressed with an additional $400 work order for factory dealer parts, but came back with the "identical problem".. hmm, how is that possible with new factory parts?! 3. Doors that opened and closed without issue, now don't. 4. New paint came back scratched 6" on new bumper. 5. Replaced transmission had to be repaired after we got it back, as it posed a fire hazard. 6. Interior that went in clean was returned to us covered in heavy engine grease spots on all seats, dashboard and steering wheel. Took 2 hours to clean with heavy scrubbing. 7. The gas door requires opening from inside with button and worked easily when given to Dave, but now it sticks and requires 2 people to get gas. 1 to hold down button continuously, 2nd person to pry gas door open. Every time I took the car back to fix one of these issues it came back with a new broken item. Dave called and asked me bring it back again for above issues, but I can't afford to have anything else broken on my car, so no way in hell am I taking my car back for a 5th time. If Dave had protected my interior, returned my car with the same working parts I gave him, and just repaired or replaced the broken/damaged parts, I would be happy, but my car is worse off every time I let him fix an issue. He should ensure all work is done correctly and nothing leaves damaged, and he should cover the interior if his guys are going to wear grease covered overalls inside the vehicle. He had it enough times to do things right, but didn't, so it's not an accident, it's just the way his place is run. First time shame on you. Second, third, fourth and fifth time... really?!, what's his excuse?? Too bad because initially I thought he was efficient. Calling Allstate to complain because my car is still damaged and I have to find others to fix issues I paid him to fix. Suing him in court would cost me too much, so I am just screwed. The people are very friendly and very helpful. The were great at explaining the details of my car and the damage. I will most definitely use them again if necessary.

I had a good experience with this business. They worked with my insurance they got me in checked out the car. Then I came back a few days later and they got everything done within a week. I busted something under my car so they had to repair the whole guard underneath my car around the wheel areas and the front bumper. It was pretty extensive. They got it all done within one week, even though they had to order extra parts. They picked me up at my house and everyone was friendly yet professional. Great experience and I’d use them again. If you live in the area and they’re trying to stay close to home to get your car fixed don’t worry they are very well equipped to get the job done.
