Still my go to, only mechanic, honest, car fixing place. 2023, 4 years after my original post. Alfred and Confidence Auto just keeps getting better. You are missing out if you're not bringing your vehicle here.❤ I have been coming here for at least 20 years? Is that even possible? I suppose it is when you have CONFIDENCE and find someone honest and dependable. I have never been let down. Alfred is the best!! Everything is explained to me and I leave there feeling good and my car running great!!

My car broke down in front of Confidence on Saturday morning. I decided to leave it there and come back the next morning to get it checked out. I've never been treated with more respect and warmth then I have with Confidence. They got my car done the same day, even though they were packed and the price was amazing. My family has been coming here for a long time and we all agree they're the best in the area. 👍

No half of a star. Or no star options. Charged us 1400 for changes and didn’t clean up or put things back in working order. Car wasn’t working even in working order. Or better. Had to take our car to the dealership to fix their mistake and cost us more time and money.

This is hands down the best shop in LA. My family has been going to Alfred and his crew for over a decade. I come here for oil changes and whenever I have any issues with my car. Alfred is such a standup, friendly guy - the dealership tried to trick me into saying I needed to replace my brake pads. Alfred checked and said I still have 85% left and don’t need to replace for another 2 years! The prices are also very fair and he won't ever try to upsell you. Anyone reading this who is also a woman knows we look like an easy target for an upsell. However, Alfred is an honest, trustworthy mechanic who is a family man and my mom and I have never felt like we were getting manipulated. I live in DTLA now, but I still come up here because I know I will get quality service for a great deal. There are people who come from all over even though they move away because they trust Alfred. Tip: come at 7am so you can get your car serviced first. I was in and out in an hour for a full inspection, oil change, brake fluid change, and tire rotation 2nd Tip: Pay cash and save 3%! Long story, short: come here for great service for a great price!

This is the best car service/repair shop I have ever been to! The workmanship is always the best, the mechanics very friendly, the prices always good, and they really care about you and your vehicle! The manager, Alfred, runs a good crew and he’s on top of everything. Very service oriented.
