Overtightened wife's bolts on a wheel and all snapped off except one, could of had a serious injury. Stephanie in customer service very condescending. Also since asking around to other people about what they know about Cordells, all have said they have heard bad things or have had bad experiences. Out of 4 people 3 said they have either heard bad things or had bad experiences themselves. Also charged me 1300 to fix an oil leak and it never got fixed. They claim they said the first fix was just a starting point but they never made that clear. Quoted me another almost 3000 after that. All I asked was they make it clear 1300 was just the start, and I would have never had them proceed with the work. My wife I guess has had a couple experiences where the work actually got done, but work is as expensive as you will find anywhere.

i usually work on my owe cars but need and alignment. I had my alignment done there and was told my new tie rod boot was installed wrong. I did the install on the boots and I know for sure they are on correctly. how could you even install them wrong. I checked my tie rod boot and they were not in place and ripped on one end. The zip ties that are suppose to hold them in place were cut off and missing. They did offer me to bring it in so they can “look at them” but I don’t want to go back for them to tell me it’s need to replace since they were new and only a couple of days old. I would not go back to a shop where they won’t do the small things to finish the job. I had replaced the boot for the second time and will need another alignment at $117. Try other places for your vehicle needs.

I had a problem getting my car out of park and was two hours away. I finally got going and didn’t want to stop until I got home. Called ahead and the folks in Onalaska got me right in. In five minutes the technician diagnosed the problem- a walnut that a squirrel must have deposited in the shift linkage. As long as I was there I was able to get a bit of winterizing done. Fast and efficient. Thanks so much!!!

I took my van to them for the brakes, they called me and said my brakes were fine, so they asked to do a tune up, I said yes, seeing how it's was giving the van to my daughter and my grandchildren. They finished the tune up and charged me over $2000.00. I paid Cordells and drove down to milwaukee and gave my daughter the van. The very next day, the brakes failed her with my grandchildren in the van!! She took the van to a trusted mechanic in Milwaukee, and he said my brakes needed to be replaced. So I paid him $1000.00 for a complete brake overhaul. Then he looked at the receipt from Cordells and told me i was ripped off. He said they charged me to replace an air filter $900.00!!!! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND CORDELLS AUTOMOTIVE SERVICES TO ANYONE!!!! $900.00 FOR AN AIR FILTER 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ Please if you are a hard ass working person that works their ass off for their money... save it...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! Update:... the owner called me and apologized for everything. He did say that I was over charged and refunded me $500.00. So I guess the owner isn't so bad, he did also say that he was going to have his mechanics trained a bit more efficiently.

On Sept 5, 2024 while driving to the LaCrosse, WI area our check engine light went on. The Cordell's in Onalaska was able to fit us in the next morning. After running a computer check they assured us there was nothing we had to fix immediately. We were able to enjoy the rest of our trip. No charge.
