Costco Tire Center

If I could leave a half star I would... Got 4 new tires not even a week ago to have my Tire Management System Sensors to go off. Upon brining the vehicle into the shop to have them take a look at it they gave me the idea that I had a nail in my tire (which I knew was not the case) or they said the sensors were going bad and needed to be replaced (hard to believe on a vehicle that was brand new in 2023). I received a call after an hour of Costco having my car that I needed to come back and discuss some things. Upon arrival I was met by the 3 gentlemen who worked there on 2/4/25 (all very nice and professional), they had my tires off the car and ready to show me that the TPMS Sensors were not broken. After consulting with the 3 men for about 10-15 minutes they kept telling me the sensors were in tact but indeed not functioning (3 out of 4). I let them know that I brought them a perfectly fine car that had 0 lights on the dashboard now that they 1) replaced the tires and 2) probably messed around with the sensors; they were persistent that they did not cause the damage and I should go to the dealer. I then asked to speak to a manager and was taken to the administrative center to NEVER TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER! (There was none there @7:15 PM) The man then came back after wasting now 2 hours of my time, letting me know that Costco will replace the sensors at no cost to me. Low and behold I get that car back after the sensors have been replaced and all is good/back to normal. I am writing this to make anyone who gets their tires done here, be aware they will mess with the sensors and have YOU try and pay for it! This is just terrible customer service and an unnecessary waste of time! FYI I brought my car in at 6:00PM on a Tuesday and didn't get it back until 8:45/9:00 PM when the store was already closed; terrible experience!

Had appointment at the Oceanside Costco tire center to have 4 new tires (purchased on line from Costco) installed. My appointment was for 11 am. I waited in Costco until the job was finished at 3:45pm!!! Almost 5 hrs to replace 4 tires. When I dropped off my car, I was told it might take 1 1/2 hours to 1 3/4 hours because they were busy. Every time I inquired how much longer it would take, I was told it should be soon. But it wasn’t soon. Why do they schedule appointments when they are not prepared to do the job for hours and hours? It was outrageous. The young person at the counter (the only one manning the counter the whole day) was actually very pleasant but they couldn’t do anything about the length of time I had to wait. I will not return to this facility.

I love Costco. Unfortunately poor service with an attitude is what you'll be served at the Oceanside Costco tire center. (and the guy at the counter who can't be bothered to answer the phone will probably be eating a chicken nugget while he's serving up that attitude.) Terrible service. Avoid at all costs. Nobody leaves happy. Trust me.

The worst Costco tires center! You'd better not visit them as often as scheduled if you drive a lot of mileage. otherwise, they will show you a very bad attitude and put 4 different tire pressures in 4 tires!

This location is the worst. Have to wait in a long line just to pick up your car key either that or nobody comes out for 15 min.Costco is great but this tire center is trash . and most of the tire techs are nasty with bad attitudes
