Costco Tire Center

Costco tire service is a nice offering from Costco. When you buy tires from them, you get extra services like tire rotation for the life of the vehicle. Consider making an appointment to ensure you are seen in a timely fashion. I scored a bit lower as they didn't have my tire in stock and I had to wait a week to get them.

I dropped my car for tires installation and they told me they would call me when ready. However I didn't get any call while I'm waiting inside Costco. I went back to check and figured my car had been ready for one hour. The guy said there were some issues in the call systems like it's pretty normal. They wasted me one hour but not even apologized. In addition, It's always a long line with one working person. Very horrible experience and will never come back again.

They operate very inefficiently. There is always only one person at the counter who is selling the tires, batteries and taking in cars for tire installations and repairs. So if you end up being there while the guy is selling tires, good luck. Even though you may have an appointment, you will end up waiting to be checked in for very long time. The backend service guys have no coordination with front desk. So they operate in random fashion looks like. And from our observation, the front desk person always try to give you an appointment way out in the calendar even though they might have appointments for the same day. So try different times and you may end up getting an appointment for day and time you need. Don't trust the first guy at all. Then there is no consistency in what the front desk person says if your tires are in warranty. One guy told us that our tires will get a prorated refund since they were in the warranty but when we went to actually replace the tires, the other guy said the tires were out of warranty. It's hard to figure out how they operate. It seems you need to just get lucky to get a decent service here.

Kept getting turned away even though it was during opening hours. (They close at 8.30pm but they say they don't accept any more walk-ins when I show up at 8pm or 7.30pm). Attitude is poor and show zero thought. They would say return at 9am but I went at 9.20am and the shutters were not even up. Won't recommend their service.

Went in with a screw in my threads hoping to get it fixed since I berly made it to the store at 5pm and they said they couldn't help me that they were fully booked and busy when they close till 8:30 pm on Friday. But when I went back and looked in the garage the techs where on their phones laughing. Really let a loyal customer down.
